Lovely, authentic cooking session in the countryside - We had a truly perfect time in Ca‘Bianca. The service of collecting us from the meeting point and bringing us back there after the course worked perfectly. We were picked up by the very pleasant daughter of the chef who provided us with interesting facts and history of the city Bologna along the way to the charming house in the countryside. The warm welcoming inside with a homemade cake and tea was a lovely start. In the kitchen we had the opportunity to learn how to make fresh pasta (in our case it was Tagliatelle and Tortelloni) from the inspiring qualified chef Elisabetta with fresh, organic and high quality ingredients. The taste was just delicious and the amount of pasta more than enough. The vine accompanied to the pasta was another nice extra. We can truly recommend the cooking session which felt more like visiting good friends on the countryside then having a lession thanks to the welcoming atmosphere.

Highlight of our trip to Italy - What a wonderful day spent with this lovely family. My husband and I brought our son and daughter in law to learn true Italian cooking as all our Italian grandmothers are not with us. Just full of heart, great food, wine and delightful conversation. Stunning setting and a real treat. The pups are sweet and add to a special day. If you’re considering this just do it. Highlight of our trip.

High expectations .. exceeded! - We had such high expectations and were so excited to travel to the food capital of the world to learn how to make authentic pasta and bolognese sauce .. little did we know, however, that we would be warmly escorted by a local family to their hilltop villa that organically values and produces much of the ingredients they use .. to be truly treated as welcomed, family guests in their beautiful home and then step-by-step educated in a hands-on culinary adventure on how to prepare traditional pasta and bolognese .. recipes that we will surely take home and share with our families and friends in the US .. The Mother-Daughter Team of Flaminia and Elizabeth could not have more lovingly and effectively hosted and communicated with us throughout the entire relaxing experience .. we felt their passion for sharing their longstanding family recipes .. step by step they taught us how to replicate them and they then sat us down for dinner in their home, like family, to wine and dine on our efforts. THANK YOU FLAMINIA AND ELIZABETH! WE will remember you forever and are so grateful. XO

An experience of a lifetime!! - This was the highlight of our time in Bologna. We got to learn how to make pasta in the chef’s kitchen in her countryside home, a 1600 era historic building occupied by the 3rd generation in her family. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the fruits of our labor on the backyard patio overlooking the incredible view of the valley. The chef and her daughter were so welcoming and warm we left feeling like we were leaving family. ❤️

A Farm Cooking Class to Remember! - My father and my daughter learned how to make tortelloni! We all had a wonderful time at the farm, which is in a gorgeous locale. What a warm, welcoming family who really knows their food. It was so rewarding to learn how to make a real Bolognese sauce from such a talented mother/daughter duo.

Experience culture and cuisine in the countryside - What a wonderful experience! We were warmly welcomed with fresh apricot juice made from the farm’s fruit trees, ricotta cake and of course an espresso. Not only did we learn all about making two kinds of pastas and sauces, we experienced cooking in the chef’s personal kitchen. We got to enjoy the fruits of our labor on the backyard patio overlooking the breathtaking view of the valley. If you are looking for something special to do in Bologna and learn about the cuisine and culture in a 1600 year stone residence, this is the cooking class for you!
