Above the roofs of Bologna - After walking through medieval Bologna for a while, the program switched to "flight mode" so that we could fly over and along the towers.

Excellent Medieval VR Tour of Bologna - The VR tour of medeival Bologna was great; very well done. Enjoyable (even for a 58-year-old like me, and I'm sure kids would appreciate it even more) and informative. Choose the longer version (25 minutes). Note that the same experience is also available at the Museum of the History of Bologna (for a higher charge I believe as it includes entrance to the whole museum). Note: At the latter location there are also experiences about the Roman era and 18th century (canals) in the city. I did these too (at extra charge) and would recommend them (the short versions) somewhat, in the aforementioned order. Returning to this attraction -- the Time Machine museum -- it also has a show called "Dante's Inferno" which was sort of grisly but entertaining enough. (I'd choose the short version.) Note: This museum is very small, centrally located near the main tower.

Nice! - Something new and different than usual, we enjoyed it. You come to the room, you get your VR set and you are ready to explore. The best part - flying :)

Visit to Medieval Bologna - Interesting Virtual Reality experience and informational about the history of Bologna around 900 years ago. Focus is the system of towers that were residences as well as defensive structures. Highlight flying around above the city.

What a blast! - I highly recommend the longer tour. This was my first experience with a VR museum and it was really fun. I have a little gasp when a horse ran me over! At the end you can jump off a tower (it’s not scary) and fly over the city. The young man at the museum was very friendly and helpful. Our best non-food experience in Bologna.

Speed up the understanding of the city - It was a great experience to "walk" and "talk" with the inhabitants of the village in the century XIII. It is really worth to visit.

Excellent experience - Something different to try during your stay, there are 4 experiences that you can enjoy which can take you back in time to medieval Bologna or egypt. Me and my 13 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You have 2 options of a short session (14 mins) at a cost of €12 or the long session (25 mins) at a cost of €18. We did the long session and it was a great way to see what things would of been like back in medieval time which puts some of the sights into context, overall a very good experience

We hoped for better - The virtual tour is not particularly excellent. we were a little disappointed. the idea is also good but the service needs to be updated with new and better graphically defined videos.

Only just average - The place was not easy to find! Address on TripAdvisor is incorrect so use website details. Then it's a couple of rooms in a very nice palazzo. Experience was pretty low tech, although interesting.

Lack of Technical quality leads to bummer - Entering with high expectations well on time, we first found nobody at reception and then 15 min after the time slot were let in by a guy who made no contact with us, but just almost inaudible explained how we had to use our controllers. Not much fun in his job. That was clear. Then it began and the devices were not working properly or the language or sound had to be adapted … four people with 1 employee. Finally it was running. It is Supposed to be a 2021 Virtual reality experience but the digital quality is from 10 years back. All new games on devices at our home have a higher quality and nothing came true like ‘you are guided into the world of the 1st century in Bologna’. It was so unreal and (I am really sorry to say) not catching, that we now were happy it only lasted for 25 min. Rather disappointed about our 4 x 18€ per ticket !!! we left the building. Great idea but take a look at professional institutes like Disney or Omniversum movies to give your cliënts a real sensation of being in a different time zone… this is 1990 technology
