- Bolombolo - Our journey begins with a 60-minute drive to the stunning Southwest region of Medellín, heading towards the Andes mountains. Along the way, we’ll pass through breathtaking landscapes, farmlands, ranches, and rivers until we reach our first stop for a brief break in Bolombolo Town.
Situated at an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, Bolombolo is a warm and humid town, intersected by Colombia’s second-largest river, the Cauca River. This quaint town is renowned for its famous cheese breads. We’ll take a short break here to savor these delightful treats fresh from the oven, made with local ingredients.
We’ll then continue our journey through diverse scenery, shapes, and colors towards the enchanting town of Jardín.
- Andes - Here, we’ll embark on a unique Colombian adventure, taking a scenic drive in a Willy’s Jeep to a breathtaking and extraordinary waterfall, which is divided into five cascades, located between the towns of Andes and Jardín. We’ll navigate off-road paths, passing by towering lush green mountains, picturesque fields, and coffee plantations, all teeming with flowers, trees, birds, and cows, creating a fairy tale-like setting surrounded by magical and colorful landscapes.
Our first stop will be at a coffee farm, where we’ll enjoy a delicious cup of coffee before setting off on a 20-minute hike into the open forest. Here, we’ll discover the most incredible waterfall in Antioquia, hidden among jungles and enormous rocks. We’ll relax to the peaceful sound of falling water, and if you wish, you can take a refreshing dip to rejuvenate your energy—it feels amazing.
Before reaching the waterfall, we’ll ascend a bit higher to take in the full magnificence of the falls, surrounded by lush nature and giant trees!
- Jardín - Finally, we’ll arrive at the most beautiful town in Antioquia, Jardín, which means ‘Garden’ in Spanish. The first explorers named it this when they discovered such a magical place, epitomizing natural beauty and charm.
As the most beautiful town in all of Antioquia, Jardín is a true treasure trove of natural wonders. The town is like a giant garden, brimming with colorful flowers, trees, birds, and butterflies. The surrounding mountains, coffee plantations, and vibrant town square are a visual delight. The stunning church, local culture, and friendly people add to the fairy tale-like ambiance.
