Juan Carlos is the best! - Juan Carlos was our guide and entirely made our experience amazing. He was exceptional and made it a memorable trip. He’s an amazing birder and naturalist. We also went to the paleo verde rainforest which was also neat. There was an unfortunate amount of driving to get to these places from tamarindo but I felt it was worth it, although others may not.

Must do river tour and Costa Rican lunch - What a perfect day this was!!!! Our tour guide was Harold and he was a perfect match for my family. We had about an hour and a half ride to the river. He was quite knowledgeable about Costa Rica and kept us entertained on the ride. Once on the River we had the best experience seeing many birds, crocodiles and a white faced monkey. The boat driver was so amazing he was able to spot a baby crocodile hidden in low tree branches and a momma bird with her baby high up in a tree nest. After our tour we went to a native Costa Rican ranch and had the best lunch we have yet to have on our trip. They were such a lovely family and spent time talking to us and showing us their ranch. We saw a pottery demonstration and proceeded to purchase some of their beautiful handmade bowls and mugs. It was a win win and definitely money well spent on this excursion. Everyone in our group was 100% satisfied with this experience.

Wildlife up-close, helpful tour guide - Viewing lots of crocs, monkeys and birds. The tour guide Humberto was incredible! He stopped at a local market to help us buy regional snacks and produce. Humberto secured a great boat captain for us who let my boys drive the boat! At the river Humberto pointed out all of the wildlife (with a laser pointer!) and told us about each animal, not just the names of the creatures. He was attentive with my boys, making sure they were safe, entertained and learning the whole time. We were WOW’d by how good this experience was.

Fun for all - Jose was a great guide! We took the kids & they had so much fun. Awesome river to see the animals, since we had a Eagle Eye in the boat with us we saw all kinds of neat stuff. The lunch was delicious & the pottery making was pretty fun too. Very interesting how it was all made. Jose was super knowledgeable about everything we saw plus some. Great tour for the family.

Fred from florida - What an awful time. Friendly enough to get our 18 person trip. $160 per person. We were to get a two hour trip in the jungle and a two hour trip along the beaches. Lunch included. Wow !! Nothing like that happened. 1 hour round about going over the same roads zig zagging around. The free included lunch was a restaurant that charges us menu prices. No possible way to tour the beach’s. He wanted to drop us off to swim if we wanted but no beach trip even possible. We had him bring the vans to pick us up from lunch and cut two hours off the trip. Never even brought up a refund of at least half. TOTAL LIAR. TOTAL ALL TALK Liar Never ever never ever never ever use this loud mouth liar.
