ENJOYABLE EVENING - Great! Tour guide, James, was very informative. Saw tons of monkeys and fireflies. Yummy dinner. Great photographs taken by tour guide for us.

Magical fireflies and mirror photography experience - An amazing experience overall despite the rain and drizzle during parts of the afternoon. *Pick up was on time and Nick kept everyone in the group posted of the arrival at each hotel. I liked their use of the whatsapp group festure so that we could contact them when needed. *Commuter van was comfy with cool AC.  Journey was about 1.5 hrs to the river. * toilets at the River cruise point were very clean and are sitting toilets. Avoid those at the petrol station midway if you could. * Our guides James spoke good English while Dandan was proficient in mandarin. * experience with the long-tail monkeys was "interactive". Guide James was a Wildlife Whisperer. The monkeys came on board our boat to eat bananas and melon seeds but they were not aggressive.  James knew how to deal with them. Even the kids could feed bananas to the monkeys. There were more than a dozen of them including a mama with baby. * Also spotted monitor lizard and baby salt water crocodiles. * Dinner was not fancy but satisfying.  I enjoyed the home-cooked curry chicken and stir fried bee hoon, amongst other dishes on a buffet layout. * in part II of the tour, we spotted 2 proboscis monkeys on a tree top.  It was a matter of good fortune as they are wild and sometimes do not make appearance at all.  They do not respond to any lure, apparently. We respected that. * photography on the mirror beach was fun.  The rain stopped just in time and the dusk colours were sufficient to provide some lovely hues.  James, Nick and Dandan helped guests take photos and they really went all out to help us with natural poses and getting some nice memories even at the expense of themselves getting wet in the tide that came in. I even did a small jump and was surprised how good the photo turned out * The best was at the end when we cruised back to the twinkle lights of the fire flies, which lined both sides of the river.  They even flew towards us so that we could play with them up close. The crew knew how to use light to interact with the fire flies so that they responded to our presence. Nick, with a sweep of his hand, put several fireflies into my palm, one at a time. It was a magical Christmas tree experience that would stay in my mind for a long time. * Arrived back in hotel just before 9pm. My heart felt full after the experience with nature and the friendly and helpful team. Every member crew was good, including the skipper who kept us safe and the mama cooks who prepared our dinner.  Thank you all for the wonderful time.  I wish everyone happiness.

Super day to cruise the river and see monkeys and fireflies - Fabulous trip and despite being the only westerner in a bunch of Koreans it wasn't lonely. The guide Nick Teo made me feel included and the beach pics were great despite the bad weather. The gangster monkeys in the boat were fun and we got to see the fireflies, tge trees looking like Xmas. Food was fine too

Would go again :) - We loved the whole thing; saw monkeys as promised, got lucky with weather and a lovely sunset and saw fireflys as well. Everyone very curteous, helpful and knowledgable. Our pictures and experience were great! P.s bring mosquito spray for the evening boat ride and wear a nice light coloured skirt or dress for the beach pics (yellow and white are amazing)!

Really enjoyable, great hosts - Was impressed by the simple but ideal arrangements to see all that was promised. loved the photographs, perfect memories.

Show - The best thing about the cruise is to see the fireflies, a spectacle, we saw the monkeys, but they are very elusive.

Grateful - James and Nick were fantastic. Not only they helped to take the sky mirror photos, but they were engaging and friendly: both guys are linguists and their ability to speak a range of languages for the tourists help to build immediate rapport. Shout out to Nick who helped me get in and out of boat as my muscles were sore after climbing Mount K. Thank you guys

Timepass if you have a free day & nothing to do - Would not suggest a must do as there is nothing spectacular. But if you have nothing to do then 1 can try this. You would definitely sight Proboscis monkey, sunset is subject to weather & guide helps in getting some good pics. Fireflies we saw on few trees but not as shown in marketing pics, they were like few & making video or pics is difficult as it was not too bright so it depend on your luck Food was good & guide was very good & funny If your going for such tour then this one is recommended as service was good & maybe only 1 to offer beach sunset

Beautiful beach but a tour to give a miss - Communication from time of booking until being picked up by bus was first rate. After that it felt for the most part that we had a driver but no guide. We received a n informative 5 minute spiel about monkeys and some excitement when watching fireflies but instruction and information otherwise. Feeding macaques so that they reliably turned up, to the point that they wandered amongst us on the boat felt like a practice we grew out of in the 1980's, understanding that it is not healthy and can lead to aggressive behaviour if not fed as expected. Not much effort went into finding proboscis monkeys... we returned to dinner location well before dusk when sightings were more likely. Time allowed for dinner therefore was excessive.

Terrible tour and dangerous behaviour - Driver didn't speak at all after picking us up. No idea where we were going or how long it would be. Two guides spoke at the same time in Chinese and English so you couldn't hear anything. Left sitting around for ages with no info most of the time. The mirror photography is just a bit of beach when the tide comes in. There was a massive storm and they said we'd leave the beach if it started raining. Instead they left us for an hour in a tin shack whilst they played on their phones and said nothing. Then the weather got too bad to leave so we had to wait for the vans to be brought to us. Another hour passed and then the guide insisted on getting back on the rickety old boat in the thunderstorm, in the pitch black, to see the fireflies (some of us refused). And then to top it off the driver was speeding all the way back through the rain and flooded roads.
