With direct access to Big Hickory pass our journey will take us to captivating mangrove inlets, tunnels, and secluded beaches! We will also transverse Estero Bay, a teaming estuary with bountiful marine life such as manatees, dolphins, sting rays, and various coastal birds!

We are located right on Big Hickory Island in Bonita Springs! There is no physical address to the launch site. Upon your booking Mike will reach out to you personally to share our launch location via Apple Maps and how to find us. We are the Giant trailer with the manatee and dolphin!

Fun family kayak trip - Our family decided to take a guided kayak tour and we loved every minute of it! Mike was so knowledgeable about the sea life and the plants along the way. Being from Pennsylvania, we saw so many cool things that we would never see at home. It was a hot, sunny day and Mike had plenty of cold water for all of us during the trip. That was very much appreciated! We were hoping to see some manatees, but they weren’t out. Hopefully on our next trip to FMB we’ll get to see some. I highly recommend going with Mike on the water, you will be happy that you did!

Such a fun time! - Such a fun tour! Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Mike was very personable and gave us a lot of interesting information about the area we kayaked. Water, dry bag, and the pictures were all included in the price, which is such an awesome deal! Thanks again Mike!

Amazing tour! - Our kayak tour with Mike was amazing today! We got to see so many creatures in the water and learned a lot about the area! He even wore my 3 year old out - and that never happens!!

Fun in the sun! - Mike updated and responded quickly to confirm details and provide directions. Elijah met us on-site and help setup up single kayaks, vests, wet bag, bottles of water and we set off. We headed towards the beach and he gave a brief overview on the area/mangrove tree. After hanging out a bit on the beach (spotted some dolphins)/picking shells/photos we headed back towards the mangroves and looped back around to our original location. It was so peaceful, quiet, and calm paddling through the mangroves. Elijah was a great tour guide and floated around until everyone was caught up. I highly recommend this experience (if you’re into sunny/hot/outdoor weather) if not book the SUNSET tour!

An incredible tour with informative tour guides - My sister wanted to go kayaking for her birthday so she found Mike’s Coastal Expeditions through Groupon. JR was our tour guide and he did a phenomenal job! The tour was very informative and relaxing. We do plan on doing the night tour next time we book. Thank you Mike and JR!

Loved it! Proud to support this exceptional local business - Mike has created an exceptional service offering: top notch equipment, fantastic mix of nature to sightsee, they photograph your adventure so you can stay in the moment, and they’re clearly dedicated to their customers positive experience 👍🏼 I ended up being the only person's signed up for the morning kayak tour and rather than cancel, they gladly took me out! Elijah was an awesome guide - born and raised locally, he’s knowledgeable, keeps you safe, and a pure delight to spend a day with. I’ll be back next for a sunset trip!

Highly recommended Mike’s Coastal Expeditions! - Mike’s kayak tour was great. He provided detailed instructions and made sure everyone was comfortable with how to work the pedals, the rudder, and the paddle. The pedal kayaks are so easy to maneuver! He has waterproof bags each person can use to hold your phone/keys/etc. He has cold water for everyone. Mike is very knowledgeable and shared so much information about the mangroves and wildlife. We were able to see dolphins and manatees. He takes pictures shares all the photos. I highly recommend using taking any of the tours he offers.

How Kayaking should be. - See Mike and Elijah for a great day. Elijah lead our tour and kept us safe during a busy Memorial Day weekend. Saw manatees and had an amazing day. Teenage kids can't wait to do it again, that should say something. Thanks again Mike and Elijah for a great day and wonderful memories.

A GREAT EXPERIENCE - I enjoyed my birthday on the waters with the Team. Mike was very professional as wa show Dad. He made me feel at ease and able to take on the task of kayaking. This is a new sport for me but I feel so accomplished. Definitely one off the bucket list and more to come. Hope to experience this again on my return to Florida!
