Nice leisurely kayak trip in the mangroves - We had a nice time on a self guided kayak tour. The route had nice mangroves and a paddle out to a sandbar. Some good nature viewing and the kayaks were in very good condition. The guys running it were very friendly and helpful.

awesome experience - went here on a bachelorette trip, had the best time. it rained during our session but not even that could put a damper on what a great experience this company provided us with! cool mangroves, shelling, and tunnels to kayak through and fun to navigate. we also were within a couple feet of dolphins which was cool

Easy to explore - He provided everything we needed and gave us great ideas of where to paddle. When there was a little bit of a change with the boats available, be even extended our time.

Wonderful Experience - Three of us went together. Mike was responsive and helpful ahead of time to find the location. The kayaks were in great shape & he gave us a dry bag. I would definitely recommend this rental spot & will be going back again!

Fun, personalized, and relaxing me and my friend had an amazing time exploring big hickory island! - This was such a cool experience!!! Me and my friend went and had a perfect day! We found so many cool shells and had a relaxing time just enjoying the water. Truly can’t say enough good things!! There were so many options of how we could personalize our experience as well with tons many kayaking paths! We had to reschedule once because of some rain but Mike was super accommodating!

great day! - It was a beautiful day to kayak and renting from MCE was easy and safe. The trails were clearly explained. We saw a dolphin and rosetta spoonbill!

Great Kayaking with Mike - Mike has some of the best equipment. The Kayaks were so comfortable with nice adjustable back rests. The renting/reservation process is all online along with the waivers so when you get to the water you can get started right away. 5 stars for sure… we’re definitely renting again with Mike!

2 hr. family kayak trip - We took 2 double kayaks out. Mike explained the 2 hr. route and gave us the map to take along. He told us the best way to do the route so we could possibly see animals. We did! We saw a manatee that came right up near us, dolphins, we explored the beach a bit, and then made our way back under the canopy of mangoes where we saw lots of crabs. Such a fun time with our family! Mike is so helpful and would definitely rent from him again!

We rented kayaks for self... - We rented kayaks for self a guided tour. Mike’s dad set us up with tandems (some members of our crew have shoulder issues) and gave us a map and suggestions. We tried traveling through the mangrove tunnels in hopes of seeing manatees.. Unfortunately we got caught up in the mangroves and had to double back into more open water. We finished up earlier than the 2 hr slot. Mike reached out to say he was sorry our experience was cut short and offered us a complimentary tour the following day. Incredible customer service. Would recommend this business to anyone!
