Fun and Educational Tour - I have lived in Boquete six months and really wasn't aware that there was a local Farmers Market!! Giovy was an excellent guide; showed me around the market and introduced me to vendors and I bought some banana vinegar, which was something new to me. When we went across the street to the Vintage Cafe, for the coffee tasting, Luis the owner was very gracious and I learned a lot about the coffee they serve there and how it is "brewed". I highly recommend this tour.

Worth every penny and more! - I would have loved to meet Giovy and his activities 6 months ago when I arrived in Boquete; after the visit to the market I feel more confident and safer to do my weekly purchases in the local market. Thank you very much Giovy, I learned a lot!

Best tour of the market - Giovy is engaging and informative. The market tour was great, we learned about indigenous chiriqi and panamanian produce and their uses. It's overwhelming to navigate the market without guidance from a local. We also spent time learning about the process for brewing a perfect cup of Boquete coffee at The Vintage café.

Getting to know the Boquete market - Giovy is very knowledgeable on the various fruits and vegetables that are grown in Boquete and the surrounding areas. We visited several vendors and saw their offerings. She also showed me a vendor that had authentic Panamanian-made souvenirs to take back to the US when I visit. Our final stop was at a coffee shop where they fully explained the various roasts and beans and then poured me a couple of cups of coffee to try. That was a very unique experience with the way the gentleman there brewed my coffee. I enjoy learning more about Boquete and Giovy is a wonderful hostess in leading this.

Fun Time at Boquete Pub Crawl - The Boquete Pub Crawl organized by Giovy was a really fun time! Me and my friends were taken by bus to 10 different restaurants and bars around town to enjoy a choice of 2 different drinks and a small appetizer. It was great opportunity to meet some fun people and experience a variety of local drinks and cuisine. Giovy was very organized even though there were around 40 pub crawlers. She is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Her events are highly recommended.

Learning about Panamanian Coffee - The coffee experience. Luis was extra knowledgeable about the cultivation and processing of Panamanian Coffee. The coffee tasting was amazing! I bought some to take home!

Wonderful day of cooking - What an awesome experience! I highly recommend Giovy's tours! We began with a coffee tasting at a wonderful cafe in the Central Market where we were treated to a coffee tasting that was visually interesting, educational and delicious. Then off to meet the local fish monger and Chef Alexander in front of his restaurant, Ngadri, a fabulous new restaurant in Boquete. Chef Alexander instructed us on how to select the freshest fish. The cooking class began with a unique and delicious glass of sangria. Chef Alexander then guided us through the preparation and cooking of a whole fried fish and the best ceviche I've had, truly! The entire day was delightful -filled with lots of information, great participants, tons of laughter, wonderful cooking tips and a ended with a delicious dinner.

Great Asset for Boquete Visitors and Residents - Great Asset for Boquete Visitors and Residents Although I've lived and shopped in Boquete for five-plus years, I joined two U.S. friends for Giovy's tour. It was informative and enjoyable. The three of us especially enjoyed sampling coffee from several small growers in the region. When I return to the market I will feel more confident as I decide which vendors to choose. Giovy is an asset to Boquete.
