We had a brilliant... - We had a brilliant morning on this tour. Joshua was a really fantastic guide - knowledgeable, friendly and brought it all to life for us. The tastings were exceptional (we went back to two of the boulangeries the following day for more!) and the history of Bordeaux was fascinating, thank you! The highlight of our trip to Bordeaux.

*chef’s kiss* on selection and historical presentation - Wow! Nikesh was *chef’s kiss*! He made me feel welcome, asked genuine questions of our curiosity, and balanced the tour well throughout. The walking and sightseeing was very well orchestrated and made “sense”. The part everyone wants to know about - THE PASTRIES - Yum!!! Again, well thought out and planned. You have everything from salty & savory to sweet sweet (but not jolly rancher artificial sweet). We tasted two types of bread, and as an extra special surprise we were treated to a pastry you can only get if the shop has left over croissants. This detail was what solidified the 5 star rating - to have curated such a relationship with shop owners (award winning nonetheless) where they’ll call you up and reserve such a specialty pastry for you and your tours, bravo *applause* Please note - all portions are half sizes (which was MORE than enough & allowed you to taste everything)

Really is the best! - We booked this tour to round off our trip to Bordeaux and it did not disappoint! Nikesh was brilliant, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He even went ahead with the tour for just me and my partner as other travellers had dropped out. We walked around Bordeaux with a short tram ride for up to 3 hours, but the tour didn’t feel too long at all and there were plenty of stops. The walk was also pretty easy in that there were not a lot of hills or difficult paths. There are also toilet stops. Nikesh’s passion for Bordeaux’s history and its boulangeries was amazing - he took us to really interesting spots that we definitely wouldn’t have found without him. The food was incredible, he really has picked out the best places and hasn’t just settled for what might be good close by. It was great getting to know Nikesh and all about Bordeaux ! He gave us some really good recommendations and we are super grateful for the amazing food! As he suggests, you definitely don’t need breakfast or lunch! Thanks Nikesh!
