Excellent - Alexandra was a delightful guide; friendly, thoughtful and very knowledgeable about food and wine plus Bordeaux itself. Her passion was infectious. Wonderful time. - Wonderful tour, Alexandra was very knowledgeable and lead us on a wonderful tour ending in a nice wine and cheese tasting. The cheese we very different but very delicious. we wanted to be adventurous and she gave us just that. She tailored the tour to our desires and made sure we enjoyed our time.

Highly recommended tour and guide - An excellent tour with an excellent guide, Alex. Items were selected from a local bakery, butcher shop, and cheese shop and enjoyed both during and after the walking tour. Alex was friendly and informative, offering recommendations to us to further our experience in Bordeaux.

Elevated experience - We have done walking food tours before this was by far the best! Alex was well traveled and knowledgeable. This experience went beyond just tasting the food. His insights into the flavors of the food and the wine enhanced the experience and his discussion of gut microbiomes was thought provoking. An amazing food filled evening in Bordeaux - Alex was an amazing guide! He took us through the town and showed us some amazing places to eat as well as prominent locations. He was very thoughtful, since the meat shop is closed on a Monday he got the meat on Saturday and kept it for us. The extra meat and cheese was also given to us to take back to our accommodation. Amazing culinary walking tour in Bordeaux with Alexandra! - 9 July 2024 ... already over a month ago now, but we still often think back to the amazing culinary walking tour through Bordeaux which Alexandra planned for us. What an enthusiastic, polite, modest and knowledgeable (food)guide Alexandra is!! The combination of delicious original authentic French products, a very friendly American couple and thus Alexandra made it an unforgettable afternoon for my wife and me. We visited a real "boulangerie", "boucherie" and "fromagerie". The owners of these stores were as enthusiastic about their shop/products as Alexandra is. Out of respect I've one advise: don't touch their products! We were allowed to choose delicious authentic French products (included in the price of the tour) which we consumed at the end of the walk in a very cosy wine bar. Of course, we also made a stop at the ‘Grosse Cloche’ where we enjoyed the one and only classic and vanilla cannelés. Alexandra (and of course also Danuta and Peter!) thank you very much for your enthusiasm, expertise and friendliness. You gave us an unforgettable afternoon. Writing this review, makes my mouth water again!
