2ter Rue Mably - With a local wine expert, enjoy a tasting workshop, between the atmosphere of a wine bar and a course of oenology in the heart of Bordeaux, 2 steps away from the Grand Theatre.
A workshop to acquire in-depth notions such as: terroir, grape varieties, appellation, classification, vinification/winemaking, aging, storage and the art of wine service. No knowledge is required to attend this experience, you will learn while having fun on site!
The tasting will start with a first glass of white wine, allowing you to learn the key steps of the tasting with a universal method.
The tasting will continue with 3 glasses of regional single grape variety red wines to understand their characteristics and the interest of blending, a common practice in the region.
Finally, you will taste 2 fine wines, one from the left bank, the second from the right bank, one of which is a Bordeaux grand cru.
Wines will be paired with fine local charcuterie and cheeses to enhance your immersion in the local culture, while learning some basic knowledge about food and wine pairing.

Great experience! - Amazing experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable - the wine itself but also the history of the region and wine making. In all we tasted 6-7 wines which were paired with a lovely plate of cheese and charcuterie. Highly recommend!!

Amazing masterclass of wine tasting - Had an amazing masterclass of Wine tasting. Anna showed us the way how the french wines are made and besides that, we had some amazing various wines that brightened our horizons. Thank you so much!

Olala Bordeaux superb experience! - Matilda was a very welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable host. Her style is relaxed and engaging. She made no assumptions of her audiences wine knowledge. We were all different and it was appreciated. The wines were excellent and varied in price and quality. We learned a lot and were not pressured to purchase though indeed we did. We had a great time, fantastic value and highly recommended. Thanks Matilda! x

Friendly tasting - I had a pleasant time while tasting three different wines. People listen to what you ask them and he advises very well for the choice of wine or to make a training on sommelier.

Fabulous!! - Had the most wonderful time. We got to enjoy 1 white and 3 red wines. Following that we were able to guess the difference between two different other red wines. This was all paired with a selection of meat and cheese. I would definitely recommended.

Wonderful Experience - Noe was a fantastic guide. He was very informative and friendly. The wine was lovely and I gained a lot of knowledge about wine from this tasting. The wine was delightful along with the cheese and meat platter. They were also very accommodating for dietary restrictions which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend doing this tour.

Succulent and friendly! - We had a great time with the family during this masterclass around Bordeaux wines! Very warm welcome, very interactive exchanges, I enjoyed it very much although I was absolutely not introduced to wine tasting. The latter were beautifully accompanied by their cold cuts and cheeses. I absolutely recommend!

Great Bordeaux Wine Basics Masterclass - We did this masterclass as our first agenda in Bordeaux. Would recommend doing the same, if you have the time, since it gives you a little insight into wine tasting as well as the Bordeaux region. The guide was great in explaining the basics and we enjoyed!
Wouldn’t say the wines we tasted were the most exquisite, but they were still good. Having the cheese and meat at the end was also nice.

Excellent! Merci! - We had an excellent time learning about wine from our host. The wine was very nice and the food (charcuterie board) was very well paired. Our host gave us a full history of the development of wine and then an excellent explanation of the wines of Bordeaux. In total we had 4 wines to begin with (1 white and 3 red) then did a super fun blind tasting. We also tested our skills at guesses scents and aromas. The company was very responsive with communication and when we return to Bordeaux will use the company again. Thank you!
