Nice tour - We had a great time with our guide and the rest were f the party (3 lovely Americans). Second time we get this tour (8 years ago st Emilion one). Over there is different, but quality of tour is the same. 5 stars

Medoc tour recommendations - This was not what I expected. We had a quiet driver not a guide. Oscar while a nice, polite person did not talk much. I was expecting history and information about the Medoc wine region. We purposely chose a right bank tour to St. Emilion which was amazing and a left bank to Medoc to learn and compare. Our guide, Karim, on the previous day was full of insight and knowledge and constantly informative. Today I felt rushed in the town with no explanation of well anything without us asking. The second winery had other tours so there was a timing problem. Also, it would be nice to visit a chateau with more typical Medoc style which we thought were more cabernet based. With all the choices in the service industry, this day was underwhelming. Maybe learning from a more experienced guide would improve this day tour. Even offering the waters to the guests at each stop would be a first step.

Expensive for What We Got - The wines we tasted were very good. But for the money, I wouldn’t recommend. It was the most expensive tasting of 3 we did in Bordeaux. We had the fewest tastings, only 2 at one vineyard. And lunch was not included. We were also rushed in the last winery trying to buy a case to ship home. There are others we liked much better.

De'cu in Medoc - Probably the most disappointing wine tour I've had in the 5 countries and over 40 wineries we've visited. All due to a very poor guide who acted more like a driver than experienced upbeat wine guide. Ophorus was the tour operator and the day before we had the best experience in Saint Emillion with Karim and this one laid an egg. Even the wineries that were picked on the left bank touted their merlot when the region is know for Cabernet Sauvignon as the primary blending grape. A more experience upbeat guide would have saved this tour.
