5 - Star Bordeaux Winery Tour - For those looking for a more summarised review, we highly recommend booking your Bordeaux Wine tours with Bordeaux Wine Trails and give them a 5 -Star rating for all categories. However, for a more elaborate review which we believe they fully merit, please keep reading. My partner and I booked 2 full-day private tours with Bordeaux Wine Trail, the first day in the left bank, and the second day in the right bank. We were corresponding with Cinzia, who was extremely responsive and professional. She initially had put a package together but was easily able to customise it to our preferences. For example, the initial plan for the right bank featured 2 St. Emillion wineries, but at our request, she replaced one of them with a Pomerol Winey visit instead. On the first day, we were picked up at our Château by Berit in a very comfortable 8-seater by Berit and taken to 2 Gran Cru wineries in the left bank. Throughout the journey, Berit explained just about everything we needed to know about the region of Bordeaux from a Wine perspective; the Terroir, the styles of grapes, history of the soil, taste profiles etc. To say she is extremely knowledgeable would be an understatement and this background information was very useful for when we were doing our Wine tours and tasting. Throughout our time, she was constantly engaging us and trying to ascertain our preferred taste profiles in order to recommend the correct wines that would suit our palette. Berit was extremely warm and was even kind enough to drop us off at Bordeaux city instead of at our Château which was the initial plan. The owner of the company, Johnathan, picked us up on the second day for our visit to the right bank. He was equally as warm and also spoke to us at length about the region and about the wines. In between the two winery visits, Johnathan took us to the St Emillion village where we had lunch in a restaurant that was situated within a cave which was an amazing experience and the food and service was fantastic. He also took us around the village introducing us to some of the Wine wholesalers that he had built good connections with, and pointed out the ones to avoid as they were tourist traps. In addition, he brought us to taste some local ice cream that was started by a Michelin Starred chef which was a delight. Johnathan very clearly has had many years of experience and has built up a plethora of key connections over that time. All the while when my partner and I were doing our Wine tasting, Johnathan was actively trying to call other wineries to try and squeeze other visits in which even though didn't end up happening, it would been at no extra cost which which we thoroughly appreciated. The aspect that sets Johnathan apart is the fact that he himself is a trained Wine Sommelier which makes a massive difference for such tours. We are very thankful to both Berit and Johnathan for making our trip to Bordeaux special and unforgettable. It goes without saying that we highly recommend booking your Bordeaux winery tours through them for a truly memorable experience.

An experience among the vineyards to be replicated🌞🍇 - Special day in the Bordeaux vineyards. Visit to a particular chateaux with personal tasting in the center of Saint Emilion. Guide (Jean Claud) very good, friendly, prepared and attentive to the needs of the whole group. We had a child with us and they even found the right seat for us!

excellent tour guide and wine - We ended up with private tour of two. The guide girl (we should have gotten her name), was very knowledgeable about the wine and entire area. The winery was very cozy small production one, and wine was excellent. we had them to ship the wine to our home. I would highly recommend to book this tour. Especially, we finished this in the morning and we had whole afternoon to go to wine museum and other activities In fact, she dropped us off at the wine museum and we were able to go right in.

An exceptional tour of the vineyards and the village of St. Emillion - I am extremely happy to have decided of taking a tour with 'Bordeaux wine trails'. The entire tour was very well organised and professionally managed. A special shout-out to Clèment, our tour guide. He was a treasure trove of information. Warm, friendly and patient with all our questions, Clèment was easily the nicest thing in the tour. We wish to be back to Bordeaux, and 'Bordeaux wine trails'.
