Discover the diverse flavors of Saint-Emilion on this 5 hour and 30 min-small-group food and wine tour from Bordeaux. Explore the medieval streets of Saint-Emilion with your guide and gain insight into centuries of colorful French history. Visit wineries and cellars throughout the area, and sample wines made from grapes such as merlot and cabernet franc. Compare local wines with those from across the world at a Grand Cru winery, and enjoy an additional glass of wine served with a typical French aperitif! You will receive personalized attention from your local guide on this small-group tour, limited to eight people.
- Kids from 12 years old. Minimum drinking age is 18 years
- The minimum number of people for each tour is 2. We reserve the right to cancel the tour if the minimum is not reached and proceed to a full refund.
- Saint Emilion is a quaint, charming little village. This tour includes a 1h guided tour of the town, including some free time for you to roam around as long as the tour leaves Bordeaux on time. Also, you will not be able to fully explore the whole village, as we have strict appointments at each chateau. If you wish to stay longer in the village, you can organize another day trip yourself, as there’s a train station not far from the town center. For any further information about this, please feel free to contact us.
- Unfortunately Saint Emilion village is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for alternatives.
- We are not providing bottles of water, please bring your own. (water refill available at each winery)

Simply perfect - My husband and I did this tour with out guide Clem. He was very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about what he does. He was very friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with him throughout the afternoon. Both wineries were interesting and the tour around saint emillion was idyllic. The wines we tasted were perfect at both vineyards and the cheeses provided at the second winery were an added bonus. I couldn't recommend this tour anymore we had such a fantastic time. Thanks so much Clem

Jon made our day super special! - Jon was a great tour guide and took us to two beautiful wineries as well as showing us the sites of Saint Emillion. We were able to taste some amazing local wines. Jon covered the tour on his day off when another tour guide called in sick, which was much appreciated as meant we did not miss the experience. Jon provided lots of local recommendations in Bordeaux for food and drink after the tour. We had a great day thanks to Jon - thank you!!

Wonderful tour - The individual guides at both wineries were great. The other couples we were with made it an enjoyable experience. The wine we tasted was excellent.

Great tour guide - Great toor, Alex our guide was amazing, energetic and full of knowledge.

Wonderful visit to St Emilion - What a wonderful afternoon spent in the company of Annabelle, who had so much knowledge to share! She has fantastic English and a deep understanding of her subject. We enjoyed the first winery as we learned so much about wine and its production. The village and church of St Emilion are beautiful places to visit. We loved the delicious ice cream made on the premises at the shop by the church. The second winery was very friendly, hospitable and relaxing, as well as very informative. We would welcome Annabelle in Scotland, if she would like to visit whisky distilleries.

SO much fun!! - This tour was amazing- I will definitely be trying to come back and do the full day. Our tour guide, John, was absolutely wonderful. Very inclusive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We were able to visit 2 wineries and one wine shop in St-èmilion. Lots of amazing red wine tastings, with explanations regarding how it’s made etc. The first stop we made, the owner had forgotten about the tour, but the gardener let us in and we even got to taste a wine from the barrel as a treat. So cool!
Most of the wines we tasted throughout the day were in the low to moderate price range, very reasonable for wines to purchase and bring home.

Tour guide knowledgeable,... - Tour guide knowledgeable, but frequently touted it and poked fun when someone didn’t know as much. Mentioned several times it was his day off. Was overall good and understanding I was a few minutes late but also mentioned it. And felt kind of rushed throughout the tour.
