• Ytri Tunga Beach - Ytri Tunga is a beach located by a farm of the same name on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Unlike many Icelandic beaches, Ytri Tunga features golden sand instead of black.
• Budakirkja - The Búðakirkja Church is a quaint wooden church located on the southern shore of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where road 54 veers from the sea towards the mountains. Its striking color contrasts with the Snæfellsjökull glacier backdrop, making it the most photographed church in Iceland.
• Arnarstapi - Arnarstapi is a village on the southern side of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, formerly a fishing hub and now a stop for travelers before entering Snæfellsjökull National Park. The area is known for its charming old houses with fascinating stories and its stunning natural beauty.
• Londrangar Basalt Cliffs - The Lóndrangar basalt cliffs are among the many geological marvels of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
• Saxholl Crater - Saxhóll Crater is located in the Snaefellsjokull National Park. It is easy to climb, and the view from the top is breathtaking. A low-set metal stair follows the path to the top, made of modules three meters long and 1.5 meters wide, each with seven treads between solid stingers with open risers. The units connect like a necklace on the slope. The stairs received the Rosa Barba International Landscape Prize 2018, marking the fourth award for the project since 2017.
• Djupalonssandur Beach - Djúpalónssandur, also known as the Black Lava Pearl Beach, is a stunning destination, much like many other sights on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It feels like stepping into a lava wonderland.

• Kirkjufellsfoss - The river is named Kirkjufellsá, originating from a volcano called Helgrindur. It features three waterfalls, all named Kirkjufellsfoss.

• Selvallavatn - Lake Selvallavatn covers an area of 0.85 km² and is situated 62 meters above sea level. The River Fossa flows into it from the east, along with a few small brooks from the south.

The lake has no surface discharge and is rich in brown trout and lake char (weighing 1-6 pounds). The lake’s surroundings are beautiful and tranquil, and it is accessible by car.
