• Tsarska Bistritsa - The tour begins in Sofia, with a pick-up from your hotel or accommodation at 8 a.m. After a drive of about one and a half hours, we arrive at Borovets, the oldest and one of the most beautiful mountain resorts in Bulgaria and the Balkans. Surrounded by majestic pine trees, we stroll through this stunning location in the Rila Mountain. After taking in the breathtaking snowy scenery, we visit Tsarska Bistritsa Palace, a royal residence of the monarchs of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom during the first half of the 20th century.
• Black Rock - Next, we embark on a delightful hike to the Black Rock, a natural formation offering spectacular views from above. This landmark also holds historical significance, linked to some somber episodes from Bulgaria’s communist era. The hike takes approximately two hours round trip on a forest path with a gentle incline.
• Borovets - Upon returning to Borovets, there is time for lunch. Following that, winter adventure enthusiasts can enjoy sledding down the white slopes in a specially designated sledding area. With this snowy fun, our visit to Borovets concludes, and we return to Sofia, enriched with wonderful experiences and knowledge of fascinating places, historical events, and notable figures. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or accommodation.
