More than a day in wonderland :)! - Within a handful of hours we walked through a tea field cultivated on a grand scale on hill slopes, enjoyed the widely known matcha ice cream, visited a tea museum covering both the natural and cultural aspects of tea/tea drinking, and participated in a traditional Korean tea ceremony, not to mention all the insightful inputs from Veronica (e.g. history of the Sorok island). Just as our thirst (for green tea and knowledge) was satisfied after the morning spent in Boseong, Veronica made the tour an even more memorable experience by driving us to Gangjin, where tea grows on the foot of the beautiful Wolchulsan, in its neighborhood there are among others the cradle of the first Korean tea brand, a scholar garden from the middle of the Joseon dynasty next to a bamboo grove. The day was so rich that I almost forgot to mention the delicious local food of the Jeollanamdo...Thank you Veronica for taking so good care of even my sprained ankle and exploring additionally Hadong with me :).

Don't hesitate! There's real added value in having a guide for this day! - It was one of the best days of our trip. We were lucky enough to meet a passionate and fascinating guide. The discovery of the world of tea in Korea deserves to be told and the opportunity to follow a guide rather, than discover it on our own, meant that we didn't miss out on the essentials of what we needed to learn. Tea plantations are much more than just a walk and a beautiful landscape. It's also tastings in an exceptional setting, a history and a feeling that we can only experience with a local guide. Thank you so much for these human and fascinating moments. Don't hesitate to choose this tour, we recommend it !
