Back Bay is one of Boston’s most stunning neighborhoods, offering a masterclass in city planning that showcases the evolution of American architecture from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries.
This area is also renowned for its exceptional chocolate shops and beautiful art galleries. The group will enjoy chocolate tastings at four different locations and visit two art galleries, highlighting why Back Bay is a must-see neighborhood in Boston.
During this tour, participants will savor:
- Hot chocolate from a trailblazer in America’s artisanal chocolate scene
- Cookies from a famed New York City bakery that has expanded to Boston
- Cupcakes from a charming dessert shop on Newbury Street
- Chocolate hazelnut cake bites from a three-story Italian market
Additionally, the tour includes visits to two art galleries:
- A contemporary gallery featuring both local and international artists
- Another gallery showcasing 50 artists, including ceramics, paintings, photographs, mobiles, works on paper, and sculptures
- Please note that one of the art galleries is up the stairs on the second floor of a Back Bay building, which would make it difficult for someone in a wheelchair to access it.
- *Tastings are subject to change. We cannot fully accommodate gluten-free or dairy-free diets on this tour (some substitutes are available). Please alert us of any dietary restrictions or allergies before booking.
- Please note this is about a 1.3 mile walking route, not including walking around the galleries and around Eataly.
