Tour of Wang theatre - We were greeted at the entrance by V. We had a warm welcome to the theatre and were informed it was just myself and my wife for the tour, so basically a private tour all for ourselves. The tour itself was very informative and interesting. We are both theatre goers and enjoyed learning about the history of the building. We were blown away by the size of the theatre itself. It was larger than any theatre we have been in (we are from the UK). We were shown all parts of the theatre and told stories of performers that had played their. A truly fantastic experience for any theatre lovers. Big shout out to V who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

The Tour Was a Highlight of Our Boston Trip - When my wife and I were planning our trip to Boston, we saw the Wang Theatre and emailed to see if we could take a private tour. It ended up being one of the most interesting things we did in Boston. There is so much interesting history surrounding the theater, and our tour guide was able to go in depth and clearly knew the history without it seeming like she was just there to show us around or reading from a script. She was really engaging and answered all of my questions. We saw every floor, including the VIP area, and the guide had stories to tell everywhere. From the architecture, history, and its relationship to music and film, the theater has a rich past that we found fascinating. Thanks for the tour!

Tour of Wang Theatre was delightful, - 5-Tour Guide was very knowledgeable. I especially enjoyed the old amenities available to patrons in the 1920’s. The modern improvements are spectacular!

Mother's Day at the Theatre - The architecture was beautiful and our tour guide, Marcus, was very kind amd informative! What a beautiful structure with a rich history. The folk/jazz musicians exhibits were very nicely done and had a lot of valuable installations! One of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend.

Backstage at Boch Center Wang Theatre - if you have the opportunity to take this tour, do it, you won't regret it! - I run a travel program at a local bank and took 20 customers on April 11th for the tour of Boch Center Wang Theatre. Scott was our tour guide; he was nothing short of fantastic!! Five-star reviews from each attendee. Among some of the comments: "Scott the historian was knowledgeable and pleasant"; "the tour was fabulous, Scott was terrific"; "the tour exceeded my expectations"; "standing on the stage was such a thrill". HIGHLY recommend Scott and the backstage tour. He took two hours with our group; he was very attentive, funny and left no corner unseen.

Visit this Grand Dame - The Boch Center Wang Theatre and Folk American Roots Hall of Fame Tour was outstanding. This is a must see for all theater and music lovers. Their historian Scott was a font of knowledge and so pleasant. You will see the music exhibits on the second floor and in the basement. There are photos, instruments, statues, programs of American musicians and songwriters of many genres. The Center will soon be inducting some of these people into their Hall of Fame private event and that will be featured on PBS. The basement room has a hologram of philanthropist Ernie Boch with whom you can interact as well as some of his guitars and some decorated guitars. You will sit in the audience and hear about the incredible art work. You will stand on the enormous stage which is a once in a lifetime experience. You will see a dressing room, autographed by performers playbills, and even the unique AC room. It was a wonderful few hours in this grand dame of Boston theater.

Enjoyed every minute - There primarily for the Springsteen exhibition. The theater tour was fabulous. As theater geeks, I loved being backstage and downstairs. Seeing the walls signed by so many artists was wonderful, I would go again!

Beautiful building and great tour guide but… - Beautiful theatre and great tour guide! The tour started in the lobby then we sat in the theatre, and went on stage. All great. This took about 30 minutes and we really enjoyed it. Then the next hour was spend going through exhibits of folk and Americano memorabilia which I had no interest in. I know that was disclosed in the description but I thought the focus would be more on the amazing architecture and design of the building.

Not for the disabled - This review is for the theater It seemed rather dirty and not kept up. The ladies room was dirty.. My seat area was dirty box l2 And you couldn't see the show because of The chairs in front of you. People wearing shorts and flip flops. Huge line for drinks. Horrible traffic out front. Horrible experience will not go back.
