Experience a beautiful Boston Harbor sunset sail on the water and see some of the city’s waterfront landmarks as the sun dips below the horizon. This elegant sailing experience will be aboard either Schooner Adirondack III or Adirondack IV. Both sailboats are classically styled schooners and offer a smooth and gentle sailing experience as well as top-notch customer service by our captain and crew. Within minutes of leaving the dock, you’ll forget the distractions of life on land, as you experience the ambiance of a sunset sailing cruise aboard a beautiful sailboat.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Coolers and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- Dress for the weather - it’s often cooler on the water
- Please let us know in advance if assistance is required for boarding
- Only animals that perform a manual task to assist a person are permitted aboard. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted
- Plan to arrive at the ticket booth 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time. The meeting point is located directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel in the Ferry Terminal just steps away from the dock. Boarding begins 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston. Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate-controlled public space, only steps away from our dock. If lost or running late, please call us.

Perfect Sunset - We had a picture perfect day in early October for our sunset cruise. We sailed past Fort Independence and small islands. We really enjoyed the peace on the water while sailing in the harbor. I would do this again in a heartbeat. There is no narration but the crew will answer questions about what you are seeing.

Great Sunset Cruise - It was fun to see them work the sails on this 80-foot boat. Captain and crew were very friendly. It was very evident that Captain (Idid not get her name) was a very accomplished sailor. 2 hours was just the right duration.

Perfect sunset sail - Crew was amazing, always offering to get us new drinks, it was the perfect way to spend an evening in Boston. Boat doesn’t have seating per se but it was easy enough to find a spot to sit and get the feel for being on a true sail boat.

Wonderful Sunset Cruise - It was a beautiful trip. It had been recommended by friends. All the crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had never been on a sailboat and it was amazing. The sunset was beautiful and trip was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this trip and company.

Beautiful boat ride - A wonderful, calm, peaceful tour. I have lived in Boston for over 4 years. A beautiful city. The sunset was wonderful. The captain of the boat was wonderful. All the crew are polite and kind. I highly recommend it.

Best sailboat and crew in Boston - The sailboat and the crew is the best in Boston. Adirondack 3 really give you the sailing experience like no other. The others guys just puts you around with their motors on. Great views of Boston and the surrounding islands. Thanks again guys!!!!
