Additional Information
Experience a beautiful Boston Harbor sunset sail on the water and see some of the city’s waterfront landmarks as the sun dips below the horizon. This elegant sailing experience will be aboard either Schooner Adirondack III or Adirondack IV. Both sailboats are classically styled schooners and offer a smooth and gentle sailing experience as well as top-notch customer service by our captain and crew. Within minutes of leaving the dock, you’ll forget the distractions of life on land, as you experience the ambiance of a sunset sailing cruise aboard a beautiful sailboat.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years. Coolers and outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- Dress for the weather - it’s often cooler on the water
- Please let us know in advance if assistance is required for boarding
- Only animals that perform a manual task to assist a person are permitted aboard. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted
- Plan to arrive at the ticket booth 15-30 minutes prior to the departure time. The meeting point is located directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel in the Ferry Terminal just steps away from the dock. Boarding begins 5 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
- The crew is available to answer questions on the sights & landmarks as we sail
- This experience will take place on Schooner Adirondack III or Schooner Adirondack IV

The boat departs from Rowes Wharf, directly behind the Boston Harbor Hotel, located at 400 Atlantic Avenue, Boston. Check-in at Rowes Wharf is located in the Ferry Terminal, a climate-controlled public space, only steps away from our dock. If lost or running late, please call us.

A beautiful view - The crew were very attentive to everyone’s needs on the boat ~ extremely relaxing but had the feeling of really sailing! We also caught a gorgeous sunset!

Perfect Sunset Sail - If you are looking for a sunset cruise, this is the boat to be on. From start to finish everything ran smoothly. The crew were very efficient in getting off the dock, raising the sails and heading out into the bay. They were very knowledgeable about the history of the area. This was my second cruise with them, and I will definitely return in August for a weekend away from hot sunny Florida. The boat sails very well and is a very stable platform to move around on.

A must ! - What a perfect night! The weather was fantastic, and the staff was excellent. Our group of 8 was able to sit together, drinks in hand throughout the cruise. From dusk to the moon we sailed. Much more intimate than the larger boats. You get to see so much out in the Harbor too!

An Unforgettable Way to See the Refound Beauty of Boston Harbor - My son and I had a fantastic time on this tour. The views of the Harbor, the Islands, and Boston were spectacular! The weather on the Harbor was perfect and a very welcome relief from the heat of the city. The crew were pros and were very focused on keeping us happy. It’s probably a tour a little more focused on adults looking to be together and see the views than on kids eager to learn some things but that didn’t make it any less perfect of a way to top off a fantastic day in Boston.

Relaxing and beautiful - The calming, quiet atmosphere out on the water was the perfect way to spend our first evening in Boston. The crew’s hospitality and knowledge of the city were an excellent complement to their professionalism in sailing.

Sailboating with my Girl! - My daughter and I had the pleasure of sharing a sailboat experience on the Adirondack III on our Birthday Trip! In addition to getting to know other fun visitors on the boat, observing the amazing nautical skills of the sailboat staff, and enjoying refreshing wine, we learned even more about Boston and the history of its surrounding islands. The staff were knowledgeable, safety conscious, and extremely welcoming. We will definitely recommend this outing to our friends and family!

Perfect evening - The whole experience was wonderful even without seeing the sunset! The crew was exceptional, friendly and very knowledgeable about history of Boston. 10/10 would book the same trip next time we are in the area and would recommend to anyone.
