Fantastic resource!! - Having spent the previous day traveling and knowing our next few days would be in conference, we chose the walking tour and it exceeded our expectations. Ira was personable, knowledgeable, and experienced. He offered ear buds to help us hear him, he gifted us with a specialty treat, and helped us to see Boston then and now through the use of relevant before pics compared with what we saw in person. You definitely want to take his tour!!

Awesome Walking Tour of Boston - Ira gives a fantastic, informative tour. Learned so many new things about Boston and it's history. He has a very cool way to mix history with current facts. The added visual effects were fascinating. Would highly recommend this tour!!!

Amazing/Insightful walking tour of Boston - Ira's tour far exceeded my group's expectations. Ira has a deep knowledge of Boston's history and architecture. The tour lasts for approx 2.5 hours and Ira was easily able to fill the duration with interesting stories and information as we walked past Boston's most iconic/historic sites. He also brings an Ipad to show photos of what some of the sites looked like years ago. Lastly, the group size is max 7 which is perfect as it ensures a more personal/intimate tour!

Best walking tour of Boston - Born and raised in Boston, I finally decided to go on a walking tour with my boyfriend who was visiting for the first time. I only wish I had done it sooner! Ira was incredible, with so many details, facts, and stories that were new to me. The route was great and he gives you recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. Each person gets a head set so you can hear him clearly. 100% recommend!! Do it!

Personable, knowledgeable, and fun! - Ira did not disappoint. Great tour, very personable and knowledgeable. So glad I saw beacon hill, parts of the freedom trail, the Boston commons and botanical garden with Ira - there were so many gems he showed and educated us with along the way. Ira also knew many members of the community so it was a great was to interact with the people of Boston itself. Ira took the extra steps to make our time with him memorable. Would 100% do again!

Amazing experience of touring the old and new boston - The view, photo, and explanation of Boston history were amazing. I could learn the real vibe of Boston and highly recommend this tour.

What wonderful tour! - Ira was an amazing storyteller. I was expecting the usual freedom trail spots, but Ira shared so much more about Boston history, art and architecture. And he gave us great recommendations for where to eat some wonderful meals. Most importantly he kept my two teenagers fully engaged for the 2.5 hours! I highly recommend Ira's tour!

Genuine interaction with an engaged and savvy local yielding a great look at both historical and contemporary Boston - Ira really does his homework, bringing deep thoughtfulness to choosing his route and applying deep research to developing his stories. The walk covered the best of Boston and really took me beyond the surface to have appreciation for the architecture and history, as well as what it's like to live in this city in the present day.

Unique and excellent walking tour - We learned so much about the city in a short amount of time. Ira’s love for his city really shines through as does his enthusiasm for art and architecture. This tour is an excellent introduction to Boston and will inspire all kinds of side quests for the remainder of your stay, so try to book it on the front part of your trip!
