Ask for Jesse - Took a trolley ride with Jesse the other day while we had family in town. Jesse was informative fun and original. If you want the true Boston experience he is your guide. The ride itself isn't that long and takes you to most of the major points in the city despite the traffic... Approaching every stop there is information and engagement, my favorite maybe the copy of Make way for the Ducklings that Jesse had on him when we were driving through the Boston Common and Public Gardens... Even for a Bostonian that knows this city I learned something. We were also blessed with a beautiful day so it was fun ride.

Great personalized tours of city Shout outs to Joey and Hugo - We usually do the big red HO HO buses but when I booked online Trip Advisor they were sold out. And actually this company got better reviews. We met the bus down on State Street and were the first ones on our bus so we had the pick of seats. Right off the bat the driver JOEY came over and suggested we might want to move to the back in the more comfortable seats and better views. We actually stayed on the whole time around because he was such a good tour guide. Joey not only told about the historical side of things but had such a great sense of humor. He was so friendly to everyone and accommodating. He really made a big difference. We also need to give a big should out to HUGO the second bus we got on with intending to get off at the USS Constitution but because he was such a great story teller and we could hear him loud and clear we stayed on again around the whole loop. We downloaded the free GPS guides they have for each stop. To be honest they would be great if you were alone but we didn’t use them much as we were on a mission whenever we got off the bus. So if you are lucky to get either JOEY or HUGO you are going to have a great time. Money well spent to get a good view of the city.

Very informative - Great and informative gide, no stop near the ship terminal which makes it not as practical (but only if you’re on a cruise ship)

Historical Tour - The first driver we had was not all that good. He talked non stop, and that made it hard to separate babble from actual information. However we rode the route again with a second driver, Hugo. He was fantastic, and made the trip fun as well as informative. Wait for Hugo to drive your trolley, and you’ll have a good experience.
