Educational & Inspirational - Phenomenal. Our tour guide was the best I’ve ever experienced. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. His knowledge of American history was impressive. He never rushed the tour and kept our interest the whole time. Book with HUB Town Tours-Ted Clark for the best Freedom trail experience. P.S. This wasn’t my first time doing the Freedom trail tour. Excellent Private Tour of Freedom Trail - Ted is an AMAZING tour guide, providing a truly captivating recount of the events leading up to the midnight ride of Paul Revere. Forget large group tours and costume clad guides, take a fresh look at the past through the eyes of a true historian and revisit what you thought you knew about the beginnings of our independence from British rule. You won't be disappointed!

Best City Tour we have ever done - We did a 3 hour private tour this past weekend with our 13 year old son and I was so worried about him getting bored or losing interest, but what an amazing tour guide and story teller of American History Ted was. He made the story of the Revolution so interesting that we were all captivated the entire time. Do not hesitate to book this tour, such an amazing way to learn about the rich history of Boston. Thank you Ted for an amazing morning in Boston!

Master Storyteller - BEST FREEDOM TOUR "EVER," FUN & EXCITING for all ages - Our private tour with Ted was a highlight of our family vacation. We’ve done the Freedom Trail twice and our tour with Ted was by far the best. LAST YEAR WITHOUT TED: we did the tour that all the other tourists take -- nothing special, nothing much remembered, 100+ people in a group, 1 costumed guide trying to speak over the noise of Boston, and we felt like we were on a conveyer belt scooching from one site to another, never able to take a break. THIS YEAR WITH TED: there is a reason why Ted stands out and is promoted by the Greater Boston Concierge Association and a dozen other associations. 1) Ted realizes the importance of history and the power of storytelling. 2) Ted uses the Freedom Trail historic landmarks as the backdrop for the story of the revolutionary period in Boston. Everyone in our group wishes we had had Ted as our history teacher in school. Through storytelling, he made it extremely fun, very interesting, and the 3-hours was over all too quickly. Ted’s passion is obviously history and storytelling. He has a degree in History, Archaeology, and Teaching from Bowdoin College, and for two years served as a Park Ranger for the Boston National Historical Park. Thank you, Ted, for being so personable, and for making the history of the Sons of Liberty exciting, refreshing, and fun. No doubt about it, the best speakers are good storytellers. The best writers are good storytellers. The best leaders are good storytellers. The best teachers and trainers and coaches are good storytellers. It might even be argued that the best parents are good storytellers. While storytelling is not the only way to engage people with your ideas, it's certainly a critical part of the recipe, and Ted is a Master Storyteller.

BEST TOUR / TOUR GUIDE EVER! - Who ever thought that learning about history could truly be so interesting and engaging!?!? It’s one thing if you are an adult and choosing to visit a city so rich and exploding with history that you seek out a tour to experience it all... but then add a 13 and 16 year old to the mix and things get a little trickier. Well, let me make your trip planning A LOT EASIER!!! Hub Town Tours - has the Best Tour Guide in all of Boston! Ted took us on a 3 hour tour through 15 years of American / Bostonian History - but it flew by, we thoroughly enjoyed every single minute and we were sad to see it come to an end! (We are even hoping to call Ted again before our trip comes to an end if we can squeeze in any more time for even a one hour additional tour! - YES, he was really that great!!!) Both my 13 and 16 year old sons wished that their teachers could be half as cool and as engaging and informative as he is! Honestly, if you have one thing to choose to do while visiting Boston, this should be it! Ted’s passion and knowledge completely draw you in and the way that he takes factual historical information (that we’ve all heard before) and makes it all feel so new and genuinely interesting, is a gift of a rare experience that you can actually give to yourself and to your friends and family! Seriously, aside from running the Boston Marathon, our 3 hours with Ted on our Hub Town Tour was our favorite time spent in Boston! Thank you so much Ted!

Perfect. - Trust me when I say, I'm not a history guy. But going on our tour with Ted I was thoroughly engaged and interested in what my family and I were learning. The walk was fun and really informative. Not only did we learn about history and walked on the freedom trail, but we went off the main path and looked at some of the cool cites that not many people get to see let alone learn about. The especially cool part was that ted seemed really interested in the information that he was teaching. He was able to answer every and any question and support it with factual evidence. He also made sure to let us know when there is no written record of things and taught us based upon his own research. Ted used pictures and quotes to supplement his dialogue which made the tour seem especially professional. In closing, the Hub Town Tours is everything that I was looking for in a historical tour. Perfect time amount, amazing guide, and factual information. This tour was just the perfect package. Everything was just perfect. THANK YOU TED!!! I had a great time.

Best tour I’ve been on ... and that’s not just Boston - My 10 year old son and I recently visited Boston, and we signed up for a 3 hour tour with Hub Town Tours. I was a little apprehensive that my son, who does indeed like history, would be able to stay engaged for the whole length of the tour. He did, but this was very much due to the captivating story of the early years of the founding of our country woven into the tour by our guide, Ted Clark. Ted obviously enjoys and is very knowledgeable of history and has a gift. This is best tour I can recall taking. Definitely recommend Hub Town Tours!
