Additional Information

Haunted Boston Ghost Tours, LLC holds the title of being the longest-running ghost walking tour in Boston. The business was initiated by Hillary Kidd back in 2005, and she acted as the sole tour guide initially. However, the business flourished swiftly, adding more than 8 tour guides to its roster. The fundamental idea of these ghost tours is to share with visitors the more sinister aspects of Boston’s past, relying heavily on the art of classic storytelling. Maintaining authenticity, the guides do not adorn costumes, feign accents, or lean on theatricality for visitors’ entertainment. As Hillary Kidd, the owner of Haunted Boston Ghost Tours, puts it, theatricality and embellishment aren’t necessary when the storytelling holds substantial quality. The company provides a diverse range of spine-chilling narratives - tales of apparitions, haunted sites, murders, eerie events, and even books crafted from human skin. Essentially, they share an alternate, darker perspective on Boston’s history.

Definitely a must to do if you're into ghost stories, history, and not very familiar with Boston. - My wife and I went to Boston for the weekend and decided to book this tour, not knowing what to expect. If you're looking to get frightened and startled by characters jumping out from behind things then this isn't for you. If you're interested in learning more about Boston's not so well known history, of ghosts, dark secrets, murder, and witches along with a nice 90 minute stroll around Boston Commons and the surrounding area then you'll definitely enjoy this. Our tour guide Valerie was wonderful, very informative, and very professional. She made a point to wait for everyone to gather close at each stop, and speak loudly enough for the 13 people in our group so no one missed anything. Put it on your "to do" list if you have about 90 minutes in the evening to be entertained while in the city.

Fun experience - Experienced the tour last night and really enjoyed it. The stories Zach shared were fun and spooky and we saw plenty that we would have walked right by and never even noticed. We also really enjoyed the stories of the Omni Parker Hotel.

Who knew the history behind Boston Commons!! - Had a great time with my 13 year old nephew on the haunted Boston tour with Jarrod! Fascinating and entertaining stories throughout the Boston Commons. Jarrod is a great guide that kept the tour moving and spoke loud and clear. Definitely a fun time and when we come back we are getting on the T and looking for the soldier!

Fun Dark Historic Tales ! - Even though the experience was simple, no fancy accoutrements, we liked the style of storytelling mixing historic stories with more fantastic tales. Zack was a very knowledgeable host and he had a good connection with his audience. We liked his style.
