Excellent tour from pick up to drop off. - Martha's Vineyard Martha's Vinyard has so much character with it's natural beauty and charming coastal towns. I understand why many people come/return to the island to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to relax. The island has an unhurried pace of life. I could have stayed on the island for a week. We were told, in the summer months, the island have as many as 95K seasonal visitors and tourist. The year-round population is 20k. I believe we came at the perfect time. The island wasn't crowded at all and the island seemed to be resting, recouping and welcoming the fall. As with any place we visit for the first time, we decided to do a bus tour around the island to learn about the island, it's history and to visit all six towns; Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Aquinnah. I took some pictures but not many. I kept forgetting to pull out my phone. The few pictures I took does no justice in capturing the island's beauty.

Wonderful day trip, great guide. - I took this tour as a solo traveller and can highly recommend it. It is a small group tour and I made friends with other people on the tour who were great company. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was great with a wonderful sense of humour. She immediately established a good rapport with all the passengers. She was very informative and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was well looked after. She made you feel you were in safe hands. The trip itself was wonderful. Lots of places of interest to visit including the very picturesque wooden houses of Oak Bluffs. I had stopped off in Boston for a long weekend en route to the UK after a short trip to Canada so was short on time. This day tour, with the ferry out to Martha's Vineyard was perfect. What a great memory! Thank you.

Well worth the money and full day. - The transportation and tour guides were great. Funny and shred really great information. Also appreciated the personal experience stories. I wish I had not waited until late October to do this, because some of the business on the island had already closed for the season - but that’s on me.

Long, expensive day to see very little - The meeting time was super early and the day was too long for what it was seen. I believe this tour needs to be split into the people that tour the island on its own vs the one taking the additional tour of the island. There was a lot waiting time after the island tour which I assume was given to those touring the island on its own (as they needed to take public transportation to get to places). Not worth the money. The island is not that interesting and there was not much to do near the ferry station after the island tour was completed. There were other ferries I could have taken and get back to Boston earlier. I would not recommend this tour at all. A very long expensive day to see very little. In addition, while tips are appreciated and are not mandatory, the signs on the buses give you a guilt trip as they state that "tips are a big part of the tour guides income". This was an expensive tour, you should pay your drivers and tour guides better so they don't rely on tips to make a decent income.

Not worth the money - Rained hard- poured for most of the trip, so couldn't see anything. Windows were so fogged up and nothing was even visible from the bus. The tour guide passed around a couple of pictures of what we were supposed to see...most people just fell asleep on the bus. Ferry ride back was rough too. It was a wasted day and waste of money. Tour should've been canceled and either money refunded, or tour rescheduled on a different day. It even said in the description that the tour was weather dependent.
