Great tour of the island- - We loved the history from our informative guide who has lived on Martha’s Vinyard his entire life. He had facts on everything about the island, the locals, celebrities, the island, itself. We really enjoyed Edgartown. Tom, our guide was the best!

Jaws pilgrimage - A trip very much looked forward to was sadly cancelled due to the ferries being cancelled last minute. However our driver Brian took care of us during the journey to and from Falmouth through awful rain. New England Trips were excellent in offering full refunds before we arrived back in Boston. We rebooked and took the trip three days later with Bart. Very well informed and dropped us right by the Island Queen ferry dock. You have 6hours free time on the island. We took the local bus 13 to Edgartown with a quick stop on the Jaws Bridge. A daily bus pass was $5 each. Exact cash only accepted. Edgartown quite small but plenty of time to have a good look around and walk out to the lighthouse. Then back to Oak Bluffs to see the gingerbread houses and pick up some Jaws tee shirts as souvenirs. A big thankyou to New England Trips Inc. They are very professional, punctual and helpful at all levels.

Disrespectful - Tom the tour guide at Martha’s Vineyard was awesome. Johnathan the guy that drove us to catch the ferry allowed someone or himself to move our bags to a different seat. We were the only two African Americans on the bus and we felt we weren’t treated with respect due to this. This part of the experience is a ZERO! Zina L

It was nice - Id rate it a 7 wasn't to impressed about the Obama and Clinton's , and didn't care to hear about the Democrats. Would of liked to hear more about the average family life and experience.

The tour guide and bus... - The tour guide and bus driver Tom on the Martha's Vineyard tour was the absolute best! Knowledgeable, friendly, funny. On the tour bus with Jonathan, however, Jonathan told us we could leave our shopping bag on the bus and no one would bother them. When we got back our jacket and shopping bags had been moved up two rows, and I found my hand sanitizer on the ground. Also, an older man stuck out his legs and put one of his shoes on my friend's leg. And left it there! She politely asked him to move his foot, which he did after a pause. No apology offered. I might mention that my friend and I were the only 2 Black people on the bus, and the man in question hit it off with Jonathan the bus driver. For these two reasons I would not recommend this tour.

Was not picked up - Well I did not go , I was being picked up at a hotel which was not mine and was waiting at the wrong door of the hotel so they went without us . This was very stressful as we had got up at 4.40 to be there . I appreciate I was at wrong door although I obviously did not know that . I was chatting through my booking from time of pick up saying where are you . The guide said he rang me but I was holding my phone and he did not so I assume he did not know how to call a UK mobile which is quite basic . I did go yo Maine instead but not the point
