Great fun experience - It was a great Richfield experience for me and my son. We learned a lot from the tour, particularly.

Go! - A definite “must visit” when in Boston! There’s lots of interesting art; including paintings, sculptures, busts, etc. Plenty of art from those with an attachment to the local area too, which is nice for getting a better understanding of the area and the various names you’ll see when visiting. A tip would be to buy your ticket online prior to arriving. We got there and the line was very long, backed out to the street and while in line, we quickly bought our tickets online and were able to jump ahead of the line! Inside is very comfortable, walkable, nicely curated, and welcoming. Plenty of restrooms too. We enjoyed the visit and would recommend stopping in.

Prepare to pay a pretty penny for parking - The parking was ridiculously expensive! My family and I were there for 2 hours and parking was $32. The museum was amazing, but look for parking and take the walk! I will be doing that next time I visit.

Gorgeous building and one of the best collections - The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), is a treasure trove of art, culture, and history that showcases a world-class collection in an engaging and beautifully curated space. The museum houses over 450,000 works, spanning ancient Egyptian artifacts, classic European paintings, vibrant Asian art, and innovative contemporary pieces. The diversity and depth of the exhibits make it easy to find something captivating for every visitor, whether you’re an art enthusiast or a casual visitor. The building itself is stunning, with elegant architecture and spacious galleries that allow for a thoughtful flow through the exhibits. Notable highlights and one of the main reasons I wanted to visit was for the outstanding collection of Impressionist works that include pieces by Monet, Renoir, and Degas. I was able to see a couple of my favorites from Monet & Pissarro, that took my breath away and moved me. The Japanese Garden and outdoor installations add an extra layer of tranquility and inspiration to the museum experience.

A must-visit for any art lover! - I had a fantastic time! The collection is really impressive, with everything from ancient Egyptian artifacts to stunning Impressionist paintings. I spent a good chunk of time in the Monet exhibit, which was beautifully curated and made me appreciate his work even more. The museum itself has a great layout, so it was easy to wander around and find my way. I also loved the outdoor garden area—it’s a nice spot to take a break and soak it all in. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, which made my visit even better.

Go when you are fully energized and rested for an extensive adventure. - The Boston Museum of Fine Arts is a top level museum for lovers of art and history. It is more than a full day’s experience, and I’d recommend taking it in over several visits. The Egyptian/near east sectio. Is enough for an entire visit. My brain can only take in so much in an afternoon. If I lived closer, I’d get a membership and return time and again. Everything from early history through an extensive contemporary art section was impressive. More than an art Museum, an archaeology trove, and a visual history of civilization through the eyes of the world’s talented creative artisans.

Surprisingly great museum for all! - We're not really art people but we were pleasantly surprised with this museum. We loved all of the exhibits, but especially the jewellery, Egyptian and Monet exhibits. We were there for nearly 3 hours and I don't think we covered everything so make sure you plan enough time. Bit of a lengthy attraction but worth it!

Excellent museum - huge museum with so much to see. You could easily spend most of the day there. Highly recommend! Personally I felt lost a lot and wish they had an app that could walk me through so I know I didn’t miss anything. Tip: purchase your tickets in advance online then you don’t have to wait in the line to get inside.

Viator was horrible with ticket transfer - Museum was great but I couldn’t get my tickets from Viator so I almost couldn’t get in. The app told me that all I had to do was click on the “get tickets” button but when I did it told me to look for an email with a link that I never received. I checked my spam and trash files but found nothing. Meanwhile my credit card was charged for the full amount. I tied to call Viator on a Monday at around 11:00am and I couldn’t get connected to a live person who could help me.
