Additional Information

Welcome to the North End Pastry Tour! This neighborhood is the city’s oldest residential community, having been inhabited since it was colonized in the 1630s. Home to roughly 95 restaurants and 3 stops on Boston’s Freedom Trail, you’ll never run out of things to learn and places to try here.

During this tour, we’ll taste the following:

Sfgoliatella from an underground bakery in a tucked-away alley
Tiramisu from a café with 33 different varieties of tiramisu to choose from
Florentine cannoli from a 24/7 bakery that’s been a North End institution since 1926
Chocolate ganache from a family-owned bakery that’s been on Hanover St since 1930

And as a parting gift for joining the tour, you will be sent a post-tour email covering more of my favorite places to go, things to do, and food & drink to enjoy while you’re in the Boston area!

Highly recommend the pastry tour! - This was such a fun tour! My friend and I loved spending the afternoon exploring the North End and eating delicious pastries. I’ve lived in Boston for years but I learned so much about Boston’s history—our tour guide, Adam, was clearly knowledgeable and passionate. Adam was super friendly and accommodating, and offered fun anecdotes throughout the tour. We got a great mix of history and food. I particularly loved the Florentine cannoli and array of tiramisu flavors!

Best Pastry Tour In The North End - My boyfriend and I did the North End Pastry Tour a couple weeks ago and we absolutely loved it!! The stops were very carefully chosen and our tour guide Adam was incredibly knowledgeable on not just the pastry stops but the entire North End area. Were actually from Boston but got to know the North End in a way we never had before all while enjoying the most delicious pastries!

A great food tour - Fun and delicious tour! We went on the North End Pastry tour and had some of the best desserts I’ve had in Boston. The meeting spot was close to public transit and Adam was knowledgeable from the jump. He took us all around the North End Neighborhood. I was happily surprised that there was a lot more to the tour than the pastries! Highly suggest for a fun outing with friends or family while visiting.

Pastries In The North End. - This was one of the best food tours I have ever done in my life. First things first, Adam was full of great energy and high enthusiasm from the beginning of the tour all the way to the end. We definitely appreciate that because he was easy to talk with. The pastries at each bakery were delicious with great portions. A couple places even gave us small to go boxes, which were convenient while we continued throughout our tour. Another great thing about the tour was the relationship Adam had with the owners and employees at each bakery. I thought that was very cool and amazing to see. The history of the North End was also fascinating and Adam did a phenomenal job delivering it to us! Great historical places for amazing pictures too! I highly recommend this pastry tour to anyone who visits Boston!
