Highlights
  • Boston Public Market - Start your morning at the Boston Public Market and taste the New England difference in one of the region’s most important agricultural products: apples! Apple cider donuts await you to fuel the rest of your explorations. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll taste a bit of history at a second market stall in the form of a surprising 17th-century snack with English roots

  • Freedom Trail - Follow in the footsteps of the revolutionaries as you walk the historic Freedom Trail, where Boston’s history unfolds alongside the birth of America. And don’t worry…there’s more food coming your way!

  • Union Oyster House - There’s no better place to continue your Boston history lesson than at an iconic restaurant that hasn’t closed its doors since 1826. This makes it not only the oldest restaurant in Boston, but the oldest one with continuous service in the entire United States! You’ll sit in the very booth that was reserved for the 35th president, John F. Kennedy, to taste creamy clam chowder, Boston’s signature molasses-infused baked beans, and another coastal classic: oysters!

  • North End - Hit the Freedom Trail again and wind your way over to the North End neighborhood, where Italian influences offer a delightful change of pace.

  • Pauli’s - Stop at a fourth-generation family-run eatery specializing in hot and buttery lobster rolls—a quintessential New England classic. This particular spot must not be missed while in Boston—they’ve even been featured on Good Morning America!

  • Polcari’s Coffee - Next, step back in time to the 1930s with a visit to a hole-in-the-wall neighborhood coffee joint and enjoy a taste of Boston’s Italian past.

  • Caffè Paradiso - Finally, you’ll wrap up at a family-run favorite pastry shop in the North End and finish on a sweet note with a melt-in-your-mouth cannoli.

Hits the highlights with personal touch - Guido was great. Knows the city & knows food. He shared historical highlights of Boston but also personalized the tour with his experiences living in the city for decades.

Experienced foodies - Elizabeth was an excellent guide, tailoring the trip to each guests’ interest. Also gave suggestions to see a sand castle competition that was a 15 min train ride. We loved it!

Guido is NOT a derogatory term. - We had the greatest experience with Guido as our guide. He was animated, funny, knowledgeable and ‘oh so Boston!!’ The food stops were amazing and we got lots of tips on other ‘musts’ in the city! 5 stars are not enough!!

Best lobsa rull - Pauli's had the best lobster roll ever. Guide was friendly and informative. Truly enthusiastic about her job. I prefer chocolate over cannoli, but there was no option. Apple cider donuts were terrific.

Enjoyable - My only complaint isn't really a complaint but a recommendation, foods that are quintessential to Boston should include the Boston Cream Pie.

Was not the Ultimate Boston food tour - Our tour guide was very nice however spent more time talking about her experiences. I was looking forward to a more authentic experience. Splitting the lobster roll between guests got me.
