Boston hop on and off - The tour guide was excellent. This is a great way to see the city and get insights that you otherwise might not read on your own. Being able to get back on at your leisure is a great feature. Highly recommend.

Best Bargain in Boston - We took the Hop On Hop Off Trolley and are so glad we did. The streets in Boston are horrendous. I would never want to drive these Boston streets. The drivers were all very friendly and helpful.

Hop on hop off gave another good outline of the city. - The 1st bus. The guide was personable, friendly and knew the city. He was a 'hometown boy' and proud of Boston. The driver was friendly and it was telling that he and the guide was comfortable with each other. The 2nd bus was a recording. Factual perhaps but boring. The driver was totally detached.

Ok yet disappointing - We had a mixed experience on the bus. While we enjoyed the bus itself, the traffic congestion was a major drawback, causing us to cut the trip short. The apologetic attendant tried to make up for it, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to salvage the overall experience.

This tour was very... - This tour was very disappointing and we did not enjoy it at all. The tour guide was not very personable nor did he provide any context or historical information to any of the sites we passed by. He told jokes that weren’t funny and acted as a DJ. We were thankful when the tour was over.

Expensive and inconvenient - Long wait times and very confusing pick up locations. Also very confusing on what route is covered with one’s ticket. Found it expensive and inconvenient.

Almost got left. - Stayed at the Moxy in the theater district. We were looking for a tour in an open air bus and was given their information by the front desk. Paid on line the day before. Called in the morning and was told to wait in front of a competitors storefront for the bus. The tour was prerecorded so there was no opportunity to ask questions...ok I get it! Got off at the wgarfcknowing that the last bus would leave at 4:00. In retrospect that should have been a clue as to what to expect. We walked around the wharf and visited the aquarium, took a harbor cruise which was great, had a late lunch and returned to Ling Wharf at around 3:35. Called to see when the next bus was coming and was told 20-25 minutes. We went to have a drink with a clear view of the bus stop. At 4:00 after seeing numerous other operators come and go decided to go up to wait for our bus. Saw one where we were to be picked up only to be told that it was not moving and the bus we were to be on had left from a different location. After haggling for a while the company did eventually take us to our hotel. It was very difficult to understand the operator in the call and the information provided was not accurate. I would look at other operators if interested in a tour of the city.

Would not recommend - It was a huge disappointment. Have to purchase 3 different tickets just to see all of Boston. The bus does not have any A/C on the lower level. The tour is a recording, which makes it impersonal, no personality, and unable to ask questions. One bus had the radio on just loud enough to where it made the recording hard to hear.
