Favela Santa Marta - Must do!!! - Our tour of the Favela Santa Marta with Julian was incredibly eye-opening. It was fascinating to see firsthand how people live in the Favelas. Julian was very good, providing insightful information that made the experience both educational and memorable. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing experience! And such a friendly host. Felt very safe throughout - Pietro was amazing! Very knowledgeable, and lively. He kept the experience engaging throughout. He had very good communication regarding safety, like a guardian angel. He had such a wonderful rapport with some of the locals, and it was also a great highlight seeing the Michael Jackson shrine! Colourful, a few cats to pat, and some smiles with locals along the way. Would totally recommend.

Discovering the Raiz River - Excellent tour, Thiago was super attentive and gave us a top tour led by guide Ruan! The guide was also super attentive, took beautiful photos for us and always explained everything in detail! My boyfriend and I loved it!

Educational/Safe - Prompt start/end, friendly & knowledgeable guide, felt safe at all times! There was a good bit of exercise while walking down & interacting with locals, listening to music & seeing the stunning views.

Amazing experience - I recently experienced an unforgettable favela tour in Rio de Janeiro. Our friendly and enthusiastic guide, who was deeply respected in the community, took us through the favela’s unique terrain, built right on a mountainslope. We explored using only narrow paths and staircases, no roads at all, which really showed us the daily realities of the residents. The tour shed light on the community's vibrancy and mutual support, moving beyond the usual focus on poverty and crime. This tour gave me a deeper appreciation for Rio's culture and history in a respectful and engaging way. I highly recommend it for a truly eye-opening experience.

Rio has completely changed in our eyes after our morning in Santa Marta. We felt so welcomed and safe with him while our visit in the Favela, so many nice and warm people came to us, greeted us, we even got invited to the church to participate in mass service. Excellent expirience in tha favéla St Marta! - Very well organized with respect for the locals. We did not at all have the feeling of being in a zoo. A very nice experience with understanding of a special way of community.
