The perfect weekend - I went on a weekend safari trip for 3days and 2 nights with two of my friends. It may have been the best weekend we have ever had. Everything was perfect! Our guide, the camping, the food, the animals and even the shower in the bush was amazing.
We had the pleasure of Gee as our guide the whole weekend. He was so thoughtful and caring by bringing snacks, water, blankets (for the cold mornings) and binoculars on all the game drives to give us the best experience. He was able to find all the animals that we wanted to see, we even saw leopards three times and a baby crocodile!! Gee was very professional and so knowledgeable. He told us a lot of great facts and stories about the animals we saw. So a special thanks to Gee.
We are so ready to come back and experience it once again.
I can highly recommend Kalahari Tours and especially Gee!

Outstanding - Two of my friends and I went for a 3 days/2 nights Safari, and it was completely outstanding, especially because of our wonderful guide Gee (He was so nice to us and because of him I had the best weekend ever)
We spent the nights in a tent and there was plenty of space and it was nice and clean as well. We saw so many different animals as 3 leopard, lions, lion cubs, a lot of elefants, giraffes and i could just continue. Gee really knows how so find the animals, by searching for tracks from the animal and their behavior. And of course we were safe all the time, Gee really knows what he is doing.
The food in the Camp was nice as well and the chef and the campingstaff was nice

Exceptionel safari tour - One the best weekends ever.
All the game drives and the boat tours were amazing. We were so lucky to see every animal we wanted to see, even leopards.
We were very lucky with our guide Gee, who made the experience so good. He brought a binocular and a book to show us all the animals we saw, that we didnt know about already. The Camp were so Nice with a seperated toilet and even a shower in the bush - with hot water.
All the food were so good and different every time. I dont eat meat and they even made a speciel plate with tuna for me.
The weekend was beyond every expectation and when it ended we were ready to do it all over again if we had the time!

Book the camping trip today! - This camping trip was the highlight of our trip by far! We got to see 4 out of the big 5 animals. Our chaperone, Munduu was nice and knowledgeable, but more quiet for our liking. Kennedy was our chaperone on the last game drive. We both wished we were with him for the entirety as he injected a lot of comedy to his teachings and taught us a lot in a relatively short time.

Wonderful camping safari with incredible game viewings - at an unbeatable price - An amazing three-day trip from start to finish. Our family all loved it, including our 17 and 20 year old sons who pronounced it, "so much fun", and "better than Kruger". Over the three days we saw lechwe, buffalo, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffe, zebra, kudu, wildebeest, impala, sable and roan antelopes, water buck, warthogs, crocs, water monitor lizards, banded mongoose, honey badger, civet, jackals, and dozens of different bird species. Elephants walked right past our camp at night and in the early morning, and lions and leopards came to visit - but stayed their distance! You will not see rhinos or cheetahs in the park, but the rest more than makes up for it (a lion eating a giraffe, anyone?).
It's all so beautifully organised and at an unbeatable price; fully inclusive of transfers (we went from Vic Falls and back to Livingstone), all meals, chilled water, soft drinks at mealtimes, a glass of wine in the evening, a fabulous guide, 4 game drives, 2 river cruises, 2-person tent with comfy mattress, sheets and quilt. Do pack lightly but bring warm clothes for the morning drive, a towel for the (very pleasant) bush shower, and hand sanitiser (in case you are wondering, there's a canvas cubicle with a "long drop" toilet with proper toilet seat on a raised frame - not bad at all). Plus, of course, hat, sunscreen, binoculars, power pack and phone/camera, torch, animal/bird guide, and some dollars to tip the hardworking camp staff and your guide. Our ranger was eagle-eyed Sam; incredibly talented and knowledgeable, answering our hundreds of questions with great patience!
Note that if you are travelling with children under 18 you need their birth certificate (we had a soft copy which was fine) to enter and leave Botswana, even if both parents are present.

Would repeat the experience without doubt - Memorable experience .
We booked the 3D/2n tour and we had the pleasure to have Sam and Kennedy as guides. They’re well experienced and knowledgeable. They’ll guide you through Chobe and explain each and every corner and animal and their habits.
Ponzo was our chef, and has delighted us during the meals, fire cooked, and varied.
We slipped in 2pax tents in the middle of the bushes (remember you’re in the middle of a game park so animals can pay a visit ) but was very comfy overall.
We drive (long hours) in a Land Cruiser - spacious and well prepared for off-road driving - couldn’t have chosen a better car.

An amazing chance to get close to nature! - We took this tour as part of our ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to Africa. Before heading to Chobe we had spent two weeks South Africa in the Kruger with a friend who knew the park and we loved it. Chobe was our next safari experience and it exceeded our expectations ( which were high after Kruger). Our guide Chika was outstanding. He knew the animals and park so well he could predict where an animal would probably be next based on tracks in the sand and their usual behaviour patterns. At all times we felt safe, even when close to some major predators, as Chika was able to read the animal’s signals so well. Camping was basic but not not too basic ( we had a mattress) but using torches/ flashlights at dark, having to use a hole in the ground toilet, sitting around a log fire in the evening to eat dinner kept the fact you were in the wild at the front of your mind - which was important, as realistically you were! On our second night we had lions pass very close by and could hear them- that is close to nature! The food was excellent ( for example; rice, salad, veg, meat, bread in the evening) and having a glass of wine with dinner was a lovely touch. If you want thrilling close up ( but safely managed) encounters then this is a trip to take. All aspects of the trip ran smoothly and Kalahari Tours were highly professional. Based on my experience I would highly recommend this tour.

Unforgettable experience - This safari was the highlight of our trip! Our guide and the two camping assistants made every effort to make us feel comfortable: all the knowledge about the park and the animals, three delicious, hot meals a day, a delicious 'bush shower', plenty of snacks and water for the road, extra binoculars, the best photo ops ... We were lucky that we were the only guests for a day, and there was time for conversations, card games, rest, ...
The camping was basic but comfortable. Two boat trips and four drives seemed lavish, but even at the last one we didn't have enough of the animals and the flora. Everything was well organized. We really enjoyed it, and still do!

Great Camping Experience - The 3 days/2 nights camping trip to Chobe NP was perfectly organized, from start to finish (including formalities at the border, pick-up from hotel in Zambia, drop off in Zimbabwe, etc.)
All vital information was provided beforehand, including a list of what to pack/wear. Our guide Sam went out of his way to make it the best experience for everyone, and he gladly shared his incredible knowledge of the animals and nature. He was fun, but at the same time very professional when it came to safety and respecting and protecting the wildlife. Also Bernard, the camp's chef and Amos, the camp's host, took great care of everything and everyone. The campsite is unfenced, and of course basic for that matter, but has everything you need and would expect in such an amazing setting, surrounded by nature. All in all excellent value for money and an absolute recommendation. I'd go again anytime!

Great experience - I was leaving Livingstone, Zambia. Paul, who is kind, punctual and professional picked me up at my Pension at 7am and we drove to the border with Botswana.
After customs, we changed drivers and vehicles. We arrived at the premises of Kalahari tours, we had breakfast and took a walk on Lake Chobe with Moses. This walk is pure pleasure and it's just beautiful.
Moses was my Guide/Driver for these 3 days. He walked Chobe Park from top to bottom so we could see as many animals as possible. We learned so much from Moses.
On our first camp Amos and his colleague (I don't remember his name) regaled us. The food was very good and the homemade bread, a delight.
On the second camp, same, we ate very well.
On the way back, the border crossing was only a formality and the transfer to our respective hotels went well.
