Solo trip, Chobe National Park and Impalila Island. - The day trip to Chobe National Park was well-organised and a fantastic experience. They also got me to Impalila island, Namibia, for a few hours after lunch and before the river cruise.

Don’t Miss a Chance to go to Chobe - Excellent service from pick up to drop off. Our guides were fabulous and had lots of knowledge. Chobe National Park was really amazing. I had just come from Kruger where we saw lots of animals but never as up close and personal. The river part of the day was amazing as well so nice to see hippos actually out of the water and grazing lots of large alligators, water buffalo and the bird population is stunning. Some boats saw elephants bathing.

Many animals to see and much to learn - Very organized trip picking you up in Vic falls, taking you through the border, where you will meet your first guide. In the way to the border we already got to witness buffalos, elephants and giraffes before we even came to the park. Our guide was really giving his best to let us see the animals up close. And we were very luck to see hundreds of elephants as it had been raining a couple of days before. The lunch was good, and after the lunch we continued by boat. Very cool experience. Can defiantly recommend this.

Not Worth the Money - Let me first say that my family lives in Kenya, and we have been on safari before in other parts of Africa, and we understand that you can’t always predict what animals you will see. On this tour, we actually saw a lot of animals and even saw 2 male lions right up close and lots of elephants. We probably saw 25 or so different elephants. So this doesn’t have to do with animals. This review is based on the poor customer experience our family had. Its important to know that when you book this trip, you are booking it through a company on the Zimbabwe side of the boarder and then they contract out the drivers for the game drive on the Botswana side. Zimbabwe is highly reliant on tourism and they were wonderful and very professional to work with. Once we got on the Botswana side of the boarder though, it went downhill fast. The drivers were not friendly nor professional. They treated you as a number and not a person. The game drive was more of a “we need to get to this point for lunch so we are going on this set route and if we see anything, we can stop and look and take pictures”. It also took FOREVER at the Botswana border. We got dropped off at the boarder at 8:15am and didn’t get through until 9:30am, then had to drive another 20+ minutes to the Game Reserve, and then had to wait while our driver went in to fill out paperwork. We didn’t start the game drive until 10:15am. Our lunch was at 12:30, so like I said, we were almost on a specified route towards lunch and on a time crunch because of how long we spent at the boarder. We paid a lot of money to wait in line, drive on a predetermined route, and have a short game drive. This was not worth the money.
