Nxai Pan National Park - The adventure begins in Maun, where the guide will meet participants at 07:30 at a designated meeting spot. Nxai Pan National Park
Nxai Pan National Park - The adventure begins in Maun, where the guide will meet participants at 07:30 at a designated meeting spot. As the sun rises, the journey heads south to Nxai Pan National Park, where lush grasses attract a variety of wildlife. There will be a stop for a picnic lunch along the way, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park before arriving at the campsite. Upon arrival, guests can enjoy a shower while dinner is prepared, and then relax around the campfire before retiring to their tents for the night.
Nxai Pan National Park
Baines Baobabs - On the second day, participants will embark on a morning game drive to explore Nxai Pan and enjoy the plains, often dotted with grazing impala and springbok. There will be a break for tea or coffee before continuing the drive and returning to camp for lunch and a siesta. In the afternoon, another game drive will take place, this time visiting the magnificent Baines Baobabs. These majestic trees, immortalized by explorer Baines’ painting, are located on the edge of a vast saltpan. The day will conclude with a stunning African sunset before returning to camp. Dinner will be served, and guests can enjoy the campfire before sleeping in their comfortable tents.
Maun, Botswana
Maun - On the final day, a morning game drive in Nxai Pan will add more memorable moments before returning to Maun. In the afternoon, there is an option for a scenic flight over the Delta (45-minute Maun to Maun flight, rate TBA). This enchanting experience offers a unique view of the Okavango Delta’s distinctive water system. The evening and dinner will be enjoyed in the comfort of a lodge.
Moremi Game Reserve Camping
Okavango Delta - After breakfast, participants will transfer from Maun to Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s premier wilderness areas, featuring both swamp and dry regions. During a brief stop en route, the guide will provide a comprehensive overview of the safari. The next three days will be spent searching for the diverse wildlife and birds that this area is famous for, while soaking in the sounds and beauty of the region. Game drives will occur in the early morning and late afternoon. After morning drives, guests will return to camp for lunch and a siesta. A packed lunch will be provided along the way, and upon reaching camp, guests can enjoy a shower and sunset while dinner is prepared.
Moremi Game Reserve Camping
Okavango Delta - Early in the morning, participants will embark on a game drive to explore more of the area’s offerings. There will be a break for tea or coffee, after which the drive will continue until it’s time to return to camp for lunch and a siesta. In the afternoon, another game drive will take place, followed by dinner and relaxation around the campfire before sleeping in comfortable tents, surrounded by the sounds of wildlife and the bush.
Moremi Game Reserve Camping
Okavango Delta - On the last day in Moremi Game Reserve, the search for more wildlife and birds will continue, capturing the beauty of the area for lasting memories. Morning and afternoon game drives will be conducted as before, with all meals served accordingly. Stories of the day’s adventures will be shared around the campfire before retiring for the night in the tents.
Chobe National Park
Savuti - After breakfast, the camp will be packed up, and the journey will continue to the next destination, traversing the drier region of Savuti, where bull elephants roam the plains. A game drive will be conducted en route to the Savute area. Arrival at the camp will be in the late afternoon, where guests can enjoy the sunset with snacks. A shower will be available while dinner is prepared, followed by relaxation around the campfire before retiring to the tents for a restful sleep.
Chobe National Park
Savuti - An early start at 05:00 will see participants embarking on a game drive to spot the area’s renowned cats, including leopards and lions. Savute’s hilly terrain makes it an ideal breeding ground for these animals. A tea or coffee break and lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic area overlooking waterholes, where various animals and birds come to drink. After lunch, the drive will continue, aiming to reach camp by 15:30. Upon arrival, guests can shower and relax after a long day, enjoying the sunset while dinner is prepared.
Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park - After breakfast, belongings will be packed, and the campsite cleared. The next destination is Chobe National Park, known for its diverse and striking landscapes. A transfer and game drive will be conducted, with a packed lunch served along the way. Dinner will be served in the evening, and experiences of the day can be shared around the campfire before sleeping in comfortable tents.
Kasane - Botswana
Chobe National Park - After breakfast, the camp will be packed up, and the journey will continue to Kasane, located in the northernmost corner of Botswana, where guests will spend the night at a comfortable lodge. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for an evening boat cruise on the Chobe River to conclude the safari experience. Dinner will be at the lodge.
End of safari- drop off
Kasane - Guests will be dropped off at their preferred destination, whether it be the airport, ferry, or border.
