South Rim Grand Canyon - This was a wonderful trip the views are simply the best from the South rim of the Grand Canyon at Bright Angel and Mathers point. Our tour guide Katie was very nice and very knowledgeable about the area providing history, plant and animal information. It was a long ride but very much worth every bit of the travel time for the beautiful views we saw, simply awe inspiring! The drivers were safe and we made some bathroom stops at various locations along the way to pick up breakfast, lunch and Dinner to on the way back. Seeing the Hoover dam was spectacular on the way to the canyon! This is certainly a trip for all to see I highly recommend taking this trip! Btw the bus was very cool thankfully and there is a bathroom onboard! Katie our guide was great, taking pictures of everyone and guiding us along the way!

Very impressed! Really well organised tour - Wonderful tour! Very well organised, instructions were very clear throughout the process. Booking was simple. We chose our meal choices the evening prior to pick up. Pick up location can be chosen on booking. The company contacted us through Viator to confirm and inform us of the exact pick up location with a marked up image and description - very helpful! Meals were collected en route from Best Western in Boulder City. Again, really well organised! Our tour guide was Curty and he was excellent. Kept us up to date with all info we needed all day. Highly recommended tour

Great day apart from... - Great day apart from stopping 30mins from the hotel for a very rushed 30 minute dinner stop. It had been a very long day and this stop was unnecessary.

Great views, great value, but skip the food - This was an amazing tour. Curty was our guide and was very knowledgeable and personable. You should get on the bus as early as possible in order to secure your seat on the upper deck. I do not recommend getting the hot breakfast or the hot dinner. The hot breakfast was lukewarm at best. There are enough stops on this trip where you can get other food and not need to buy that. I feel the dinner stop is completely unnecessary, since you are close enough to Las Vegas, so you can eat when you get back and not have to eat out of a takeout container. The lunch was fine and they do provide more than enough bottled water for everyone. It is a very long day, but the sites are absolutely amazing. I also recommend doing the guided walking tour for the extra money, otherwise you will have to walk the 3 mile trail back to the lodge by yourself. The AC on the bus stop blowing cold air on the way back from the canyon, which is not their fault, but this is the second tour I have gone on to the Grand Canyon and it has happened on both trips, despite being with different tour operators.

Bucket list item ✅ - Seeing the Grand Canyon was on our bucket list and it wasn’t disappointing! Or was a beautiful sight and pictures can’t do it justice. Our tour guide Curty was very knowledgeable and full of corny “dad jokes.” He made the day fun! The bus ride was long, but I got to see part of the country I had never seen before. Arizona and Nevada are beautiful and completely different from my area of the country. We have a couple of recommendations. The first stop was at an extremely overpriced truck stop with limited options if you don’t get the tour’s breakfast option. We were hoping to get a quick breakfast snack (muffin, bagel, etc.), but they didn’t have too many choices. We wish we had brought something with us. At the end of the day, we were given a small dinner menu to choose from for a 30 minute break. Being only 35 minutes outside of Vegas, we decided to skip dinner until we got back to our hotel (we wish we hadn’t).

Changed trip the day before - We booked the south rim experience, but the day before you changed it to the West Rim. I did not want to go to the West rim as I have been there before, but there was no other option other than to cancel completely. I did not want to do this as my friend had never seen the Grand Canyon before.

Windstar bus terrible, Grand Canyon tour amazing - Tour was amazing and Kevin was a good tour guide which is the only reason it was a 3. The wind star bus driver was terrible! Don’t ride on this bus. Things didn’t work, it was dirty and the driver threw us around like rag dolls(it wasn’t the road). There were times we swayed back and forth I thought we may roll.

Terrible experience - We were treated like kids on a field trip. Curtis told us to grab our breakfast and lunch but don't eat it till later an hour later. Coffee cold and sandwich soggy. Told us to eat cold cut sandwich five hours later. It was bad already in room temperature. Charged us extra 40 dollars for a tours which he never finished because of rain. Coming back air conditioner died. It was 100 degrees in the bus. Way back bus stopped at a gas station for a break. One dirty bathroom for a bus full of people. Another unnecessary dinner break at a dirty restaurant where bathroom was really dirty and out of 8 beers on tap 1 is working. I don't know who is getting the cut from all these stops. Asked for tips on our way out instead of apologizing for enduring 100 degrees in the bus and late. I am just writing this for future travelers.

Horrible Guide and Tour - Horrible Guide and Tour - white Double-Decker Bus marked WINDSTAR #252 and Tour Guide KATIE We booked through Viator, and they transferred our trip to Grand Canyon Destinations. Right from the start the guide KATIE, wanted to be called sweet Katie, was anything but sweet. She was arrogant and insulting and kept repeating that if we did not like anything we were free to get off the bus and, she had the power like an airhostess to remove us from the bus. This started with us requesting to change seats as the seats allotted were near the toilet. She then moved us behind the driver where there was absolutely no leg room. She insulted us when we were struggling to get the seat belt on. Even the driver who helped me took over 3 minutes to get the seat belt on. She then insulted us while saying that we were talking and disturbing the driver. If that is the case, then why seat us behind the driver or does this tour company expect total silence during the trip. Finally, we were moved upstairs where the seats were better, and the A/C was working. Sweet Katie informed everyone that even though there was a Toilet on the bus no one was allowed to use it (and it was locked) and there would be stops for toilet breaks. The time given at these stops was insufficient, considering the number of passengers trying to use the toilets. Why have a toilet on the bus but not allow anyone to use it. The boxed lunch was given to us in Vegas itself, so it had to be prepared much before that, and we had to hold on to it for 7 hours. The lunch was mediocre at best, and the salad was in a zip lock bag. Then there was the pressure selling of the walking tours at $20 each for which no receipt was given. The walking tour consisted of her pointing out where to go and then she disappeared after telling us where to meet. This is a scam. Sweet Katie did not mention that there is a free shuttle in the park. We were not only the ones who were the target of insults from sweet Katie there were others also, even from other countries. I have traveled both nationally and internationally and never encountered a guide as rude and obnoxious as KATIE and a tour and lunch that was so bad
