Nice trip - Our driver, Paul, who is also a guide at the same time, was very friendly and shared interesting knowledge about Las Vegas, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, and other spots during the drive. I admire him for managing such a long drive (about 10 hours round trip) while still being so energetic and attentive to everyone. At the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, we had three hours of free time. the driver dropped us off at Mather Point and drove the vehicle to Bright Angel Lodge to pick us up later. We walked along the South Rim trail, taking photos and browsing souvenir shops along the way. Three hours was more than enough to reach Bright Angel Lodge at a leisurely pace. The trail was flat and easy, with no challenges, and it offered stunning views of the canyon throughout. For those with limited mobility or who prefer not to walk, staying in the vehicle with the driver as he drives to Bright Angel Lodge is also an option.
