Meet at 8:00 a.m. with your driver at your Marrakech riad or hotel. You will embark on a private or shared trip by minibus or 4x4 vehicle, depending on your choice from the pricing list. Depart from Marrakech to Dades Valley, passing through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the scenic road from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, with beautiful landscapes, diverse colors, and Berber villages along the way. You will have free time to visit the old Kasbah of Ouarzazate, “Taourirt Kasbah,” and have lunch. Afterwards, continue southeast to the lush Dades Valley and the city of roses via the fascinating Skoura palmery. Overnight in Dades Valley at a hotel with dinner, such as Kasbah Didis or a similar hotel of the same category.

DAY 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, depart from the hotel in Dades Valley at 8 a.m., taking the road of 1000 kasbahs and driving around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades Valley. After 45 km, you will reach Tinghir with its beautiful palm grove and Jewish quarter. Continue to Todra Gorges (Todgha), where you will have free time to trek along the canyons, which are about 300m high and a favorite spot for rock climbers. Afterwards, head to the Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara desert, with time for lunch on the way before arriving in Erfoud. Then, proceed to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, continuing deeper into the desert landscape until the dunes appear in the middle of nowhere. Spend the night in a luxury camp in Merzouga, enjoying a camel ride, sandboarding, sunset, and dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga – Merzouga

Merzouga - Day 3: Merzouga – Visit Nomads - Merzouga.
Wake up well before sunrise to catch the first glimpses of the sun as it casts its rays over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy breakfast in camp, followed by a shower and a camel trek to the hotel. At 10:30 a.m., start a trip in a private 4WD vehicle to visit the nomads behind the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Drink tea under nomad tents and explore their way of life. Experience a short rally over the sand dunes, then drive to the Mifis mountains, where mineral extraction still takes place. Visit Khamlia village, home to black people who play Gnawa music, an African rhythm. After listening to the music, move to a restaurant for lunch with Berber pizza. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast included, such as at Dar Morocco or a similar hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

On the last day, leave the Merzouga Desert in the morning after breakfast. After a 6-hour drive, visit Ouarzazate’s famous film studio, known as Africa’s Hollywood. Then, head to the UNESCO heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where modern classics like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Indiana Jones were filmed. You will also have the chance to visit the Kasbahs to learn more about Moroccan architecture. Finally, take the Tizi n’Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech, with a stop in the mountains for lunch.
