- Lower Yellowstone River Falls - Standing at 308 feet (94 m) tall, these falls are nearly twice the height of Niagara Falls. The water flow over Lower Yellowstone Falls ranges from 680 cu ft/s (19 m3/s) in autumn to 8,400 cu ft/s (240 m3/s) during peak runoff in late spring.
- Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - This is the most awe-inspiring sight within Yellowstone National Park. The canyon stretches 20 miles long, up to 4,000 feet wide, and 1,200 feet deep in some areas. Located on the park’s eastern side, it offers several viewpoints to see Lower Falls plunging 308 feet or Upper Falls cascading 109 feet.

Located in Midway Geyser Basin, it is the park’s largest hot spring and the third largest in the world, measuring approximately 370 feet (112.8 m) in diameter and over 121 feet (37 m) deep. Fur trapper Osborne Russell’s 1839 description makes it the earliest identifiable thermal feature in Yellowstone.
