• Se de Braga - We will start in the historic center at 9.00 am in front of Arco da Porta Nova (the entrance of the city). We will visit Sé de Braga, one of the oldest churches in Europe. After that, we will continue our walk to the beautiful Santa Bárbara garden and then to the main avenue, Avenida da República. We will pass by Circo Theater and Raio Palace, where you can admire the blue and white Portuguese tiles.

• Bom Jesus Funicular - At 12.00 o’clock, we will head to Bom Jesus do Monte, a recent UNESCO World Heritage site. You can choose to go up by stairs or by the water-powered funicular, the only one of its kind still active in Europe. At the top, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Braga City, the surrounding gardens, the caves, and the architecture of the Sanctuary. After this, I will invite you to take a walk in nature while I prepare the highlight of our experience: a picnic by the lake.
