Butte Du Lion - The Lion’s Mound, overlooking what once was a battlefield, commemorate the Allies’ victory over Napoleon’s imperial trips. The beast, placed on top of this 40 metres hill, seems to be roaring towards France still.

Napoleon’s Last Headquarters - The Emperor ordered a halt at the Ferme du Caillou, which was to become Napoleon’s Last Headquarters. The Emperor, surrounded by his General Staff, spent the night of 17 to 18 June 1815 there under the protection of the Imperial Guard. It was here that the battle plans were drawn up.

Tank Memorial Ypres Salient - Poelkapelle - Relax on a scenic drive through Brussels to Ypres, where you’ll visit the famous battlefield of the Ypres Salient, an area that saw many of the biggest battles during World War 1. Thousands of soldiers from the Commonwealth countries, as well as Germany, France and Belgium, defended the land around the Ypres Salient from the German Army. This battlefield saw numerous deaths during the war, and is now the site of several cemeteries and memorials honoring those who lost their lives there.
Saint Julien Memorial - With your guide, discover these sites including St Julien Memorial, a Canadian memorial sometimes referred to as the ‘Brooding Soldier,’ and Polygon Wood, the 5th Australian Division Memorial.
Essex Farm Cemetery - Next, discover the Essex Farm Cemetery and bunkers, an area used as a dressing station during WWI and often associated with John McCrae, a Canadian soldier who was stationed here. Learn how he wrote ‘In Flanders Fields,’ the famous poem that resulted in poppies becoming one of the world’s most recognized memorial symbols for fallen soldiers.
Hill 60 - With your guide, walk up to Hill 60, a famous battlefield on raised land that saw heavy fighting during the war. Unlike other battlefields in the Belgium Flanders region, Hill 60 saw a lot of fighting underground in tunnels created by mines.
Tyne Cot Cemetery - Visit the Tyne Cot Cemetery, where many soldiers who died in the Ypres Salient are buried. See the Tyne Cot Memorial to the Missing, the stone wall that surrounds the cemetery containing the names of missing soldiers from the UK and New Zealand.

Neimenster - You’ll visit Neumünster Abbey, a public meeting place and cultural centre, located in the Grund district of Luxembourg City in southern Luxembourg. After the original Benedictine abbey on the Altmünster Plateau had been destroyed in 1542, the monks built a new abbey or “Neumünster” in 1606 in the Grund.
Auchan Kirchberg - The Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge in red painted steel (1966) crosses the Alzette. Left the Municipal Theater (1964) and right Monument Schuman (Father of Europe).
Court of Justice of the European Union - The European Center Kirchberg 1966 with its 23 floors is the seat of the European Parliament. The Schuman Center headquarters of the Council of Ministers.
Dinant - On the way back from Luxembourg to Brussels, you’ll visit Dinant on the banks of the Meuse River Dinant gave its name to the brassware: copper objects. Specialty: biscuits or biscuits with honey.
Citadelle de Dinant - Lift your gaze towards the Citadelle and the onion-domed tower of the Collegiate church, all highlighted by the ribbon of houses and shops running alongside the river.
Maison de Monsieur Sax - Dinant is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax (1814) inventor of the saxophone, and on your trip you’ll visit the historical museum dedicated to him.
