This weekend, the weather is uncharacteristically warm, making it the perfect time to explore the city’s thrilling attractions. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a history buff, Branson has something for everyone.
Start your adventure at Shepherd’s Adventure Park(https://www.shepherdadventurepark.com), a historic gem that has been captivating visitors since 1884. This park is not just a place; it’s an experience. From the moment you step foot in the park, you’re transported back in time to the days of Harold Bell Wright, the author who put Branson on the map with his novel, “The Shepherd of the Hills.”
Spend your afternoon exploring the park’s many attractions, including the serene Morgan Chapel, the petting zoo, and the thrilling snow tubing. Don’t miss the chance to climb the Inspiration Tower for panoramic views of the Ozarks. As you wander through the park, you’ll feel the history come alive around you.
“Sooo much to do! - Our six-year-old grandson and I explored this adventure park while the others were on the canopy zipline. They got done zip lining before we were ready to leave the adventure park! There was so much to do. This is well worth the money for a leisurely time with Children between 4 and 10. It was very hot while we were there, and the shade was welcome as well as some stops in AC’d places throughout the park. We would recommend taking cooling cloths and cold Water in the peak of the summer. However, the way it set up, you can return to the coolness of the restaurants as often as you please during the day. It offers a lot of adventure, satisfies curiosity and expends a lot of energy, leaving tired….. we were surprised by an impromptu afternoon nap when we returned to the condo!” - Reviewed on 2024-08-03

“Totally worth it! So fast and fun! - Took my daughter for her 7th birthday. It was a blast!!! It can go so fast!!! (Or as slow as you like with the hand brakes.) When you get to the bottom, you get a slow ride back to the top that is just as enjoyable as the ride down. Such a peaceful enjoyable way to go through some Missouri woods! We will be back with the rest of the fam!” - Reviewed on 2024-06-19
