This guided daily trek takes you into or nearby the most majestic mountains in the region. Each mountain offers multiple hiking trails suitable for all skill levels, from easy to difficult. It’s recommended to allocate at least 4-5 hours for a day’s hike, which can be extended to 8-10 hours if you choose a private departure on a longer trail. Prior to setting off, the guide will discuss all available options and pick the most suitable trail to follow.

Piatra Craiului National Park is the starting point for our guaranteed daily trek. The path kicks off close to Zarnesti and leads trekkers right into the core of the mountain, offering a chance for a rejuvenating tea (or soup) break at the mountain shelter at an altitude of 1400m. The way back can include an extra trek to reach a peak boasting fantastic panoramic views. Piatra Craiului is Romania’s most demanding mountain regarding marked trails, offering several alternative memorable treks for the private tour, either to the highest peak or along the major ridge.
