Feldioara Fortress - Marienburg fortress
Feldioara in Romanian and Földvár in Hungarian
situated at 20 kilometers from Brașov on the way to Sighisoara was built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Teutonic knights being used as their headquarter in Transylvania. During the centuries it was partially destroyed and then reconstructed many times. The last restoration was achieved between 2013 and 2017, in this way the fortress being saved from a slow but sure destruction.

Fantastic trips with Florin! - We strongly recommend Florin for tours around Brasov. He's a lovely guy, very informative, and a safe and calm driver. He adapted to our needs and preferences. We initially just booked the Sighizoara tour with him, but appreciated him so much that we also booked the Bran day trip. ☺

Great experience with Florin! - Florin is a great tour guide and a pleasant person! I made the Sighisoara tour from Brasov (Cetatea Felidoara, Cetatea Rupea, Viscri with its Church, Sighisoara) and everything was great. Proper time dedicated to every actractions, he is cautious when driving, very expert of Romanian art and story and very enjoable to spend time with! I felt like I was visiting Romania with a super-expert friend!

Great variety of sights and excellent background information from the guide - The excursion we took was a combination of the sighisoara day trip and sibiu day trip. The guide was very knowledgable about the sights we saw along with any other questions about the history and geography of the region and was always answering any questions we had. We had a great time and I highly recommend him.

Great day experiencing Transylvania - We had a wonderful tour. Florin was very knowledgeable and helped us to understand Romanian history. The walking on cobblestones and climbing many stairs became difficult due to our physical condition. However, Florin took that into consideration and made adjustments for us. We had a great day and would recommend this tour

Great way to see Transylvania - Florin was a great tour guide. He picked us up right at our door and had a nice tour set up so we could see a citadel, fortified church and the town of Sighisoara. It was really a nice combination and he gave us great context and information for each of the sights. He allowed us to spend as much time as we liked seeing the sights. We had a great day with him and would highly recommend his tours.

Awesome day trip and tour guide - Highly recommend! Florin looked after us on this tour, super friendly and full of knowledge. He picked us up from our accommodation and we set off for the day, taking us through the Romanian country side was beautiful, we loved each stop we stopped at, we’re happy he was our guide!

A wonderful day in Romania, - the drive through the forest, the beautiful towns, forts and fortified churches. Florin provided a wealth of information, had a joyful disposition and was a very safe driver. My favorite stop ended up being the town of Viscri. It was wonderful to see the town being restored and chatting with the locals about the area. At all of the stops, I learned a lot more about Teutonic Knights, the Saxons and the history of Romania.

Off the beaten trail in Romania - A small-group tour outside of Brasov to see the sights. Tour guide Tudor picked us up in the main square along with another tourist and using his private car, drove us to the various sights listed above. Be aware that it is an all-day tour but Tudor made it very interesting. Fluent in English, his historical knowledge is amazing and the tour was excellent in every way. The fortified church at Viscri was the highlight - it was amazing .
Tudor will change the pace of the tour if you want to speed-up at some places or slow down if you want to spend more time at a place. Very pleasant young man.
Once again, a long ( but safe ) drive and worth the effort if you have the time.

Nice day drive to Sighisoara - The guide is not very well informed. From my experience Florin is rather an experienced driver for the romanian roads than a guide
