Make sure to look for the Tripito sign - What to look for to find your guide is not prominently mentioned in the Viator write-up, so know that you are seeking out the plaza in front of McDonald's and looking for a guide with a Tripito sign. I could ding this tour a few points for that little piece being more challenging than it should be, but for the price paid this tour was well worth it. You get to walk around, learn a little history, get some first-person background on the restaurants and sights that are there to see. So, we arrived on the train and within 20 minutes we were able to drop our belongings at the hotel and get this tour so it was precision timing to get a sense of the town we were visiting!

Highlights of Bratislava - This very pleasant 2 hour tour took in the highlights of Bratislava as we zig-zagged through the old town viewing the buildings, statues and eating places. Our guide Nicola was very informative and entertaining. It provided us with a great base for our future exploration and certainly pointed out places we would probably not have visited that were indeed well worth the time. A perfect orientation.

Night time tour of Bratislava - Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a running commentary on Slovakian politics which I found fascinating. She was upbeat and enthusiastic. I liked the city of Bratislava a lot -- more than Prague actually which was very hot and over run with tourists.

Informative and interesting tour of Bratislava - Walking tours can be a little bit hit or miss depending on the guide and the locale. Happy to report that our walking tour of Bratislava with Nicole was definitely in the hit category. Upon meeting up with our guide outside of the Slovakian National Opera it transpired that it was just myself and my wife on the tour that morning. We were then treated to a personal tour of the old town learning a lot about Bratislava’s and Slovakia’s history, local customs as well as some great recommendations for places to eat and visit. I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting the city.

A lovely 2 hour walk through Bratislava's historic sites - My wife and I experienced this tour on March 22nd afternoon. It was organized by Tripito and our guide was Marguerite (spelling may be incorrect). She was an excellent guide who is very knowledgeable about the history and other fun facts about different spots on the tour. She is also very proud about being a Skovakian and her heritage. We saw many of the normla tourist spots, but we also saw several historical monuments that are off the beaten path. Her English is excellent and she made the 2 hour walk go by in no time, leaving us with the thought that we should come back to Slovakia. Nicely done!
