Beautiful city but watch out for parking! - The historic center is small but very beautiful, it is worth a visit for a couple of days, the inhabitants are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, the city is well equipped with public transport and is also easy for car traffic, a sore point are the car parks, those who intend to visit the city by car, also to be able to move around and visit the Devin castle which is about fifteen kilometers from Bratislava and is certainly worth a visit or other neighboring cities must take into account that if they do not have a parking provided by the accommodation will have to park on the street. On weekdays you pay 1.50 euros per hour from 8.00 to 24.00 for an outlay of 24 euros per day! Don't hope to find spaces in free car parks, there simply aren't any, not even in peripheral areas except for small car parks near shopping centers which I always found full. Food prices both in restaurants and in supermarkets are in line with the average Italian prices.
