Sophia is a hoot! - Sophia is a hoot! Affable and funny. We enjoyed the trip out and back with her. In Bratislava, she provided a thorough tour and showed us several special spots we no doubt would have missed on our own. I loved the hot chocolate!

Susan’s the best - Susan our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything so well. So much wealth of historical information. She is very patient and kind especially that I was travelling with 3 kids and one of them a toddler. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with her and remember Bratislava fondly due to her.

Wonderful time - Susan, our guide, was full of information and was able to give a wider historical context to both Hungary and Slovakia, and how lands kept changing hands. We hit all of the sights that I wanted to see and Susan pointed out other interesting parts of the city as well. Bratislava is beautiful but small - we feel that we fully saw it in a day and would highly recommend the tour, the tour guide, and our driver too (Aaron)! We had a wonderful time. I wish lunch was Slovakian but I understand they have to cater to a lot of different groups (and probably some picky people). We still enjoyed it!

Bratislava day trip from Budapest - Our guide from Budapest to Bratislava was Sophia. She was friendly, helpful and very informative! We’re very glad we did it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to see something a little different from Budapest. The train ride around town was so so but her guided walking tour around the Old Town was superb!

Excellent Day Trip - I am so glad we did this day trip from Budapest to Bratislava. Bratislava is a beautiful city, and our guide/driver Susan was so wonderful and knowledgeable. My Mother is not able to walk long distances, and Susan was so accommodating to find ways for my Mom to see as much as possible. Highly recommend booking this tour - especially because the company was so easy to work with. We even booked a private day in Budapest with them with one day notice, and they were able to make it happen.

Great Way to See Bratislava - Kate and our driver Lotzy (sp?) were wonderful guides and companions on this trip to the beautiful and quaint city of Bratislava. We had a very comfortable car for the 2 hr ride and saw so much in one day. From the castle and opera house to city center and the art deco Blue Church we felt like we definitely made it everywhere we should go. We also had a delicious (and filling) lunch where they recommended local favorites with a glass of local wine. They even tried to get me a stamp at the border on the way home after I mentioned missing getting stamps in my passport within the EU. We also got many insights and “insider” information and stories. If you want a day trip from Budapest would say this is who to go with!

Bratislava tour - We had 4 days in Budapest and we wanted to see another capital which is close to Budapest. Bratislava was a lovely and charming city, we had an informative guided tour here with a great lunch. Our guide, Attila knows the city very well, he costumized the tour according to our wishes. He also took us to the Castle of Deveny, which was a must! Highly recommended tour !

For those in Budapest looking to do only a quick day trip to Bratislava this will do. - Like my Vienna day trip, all I wanted was to do a quick day trip to Bratislava and get a general overview of what was there while I was in this part of Eastern Europe. Susan was my tour guide and driver and she did an excellent job throughout the day. I enjoyed talking to her and listening to what she had to say about the history of Slovakia and its ties to Hungary from throughout the decades. The points of interests Susan took me too in Bratislava were the Slavín Soviet Memorial and Cemetery, the Bratislava Castle, everything in Old Town Bratislava including a delicious lunch, and then stopping by the Blue Church before heading back to Budapest. This was everything I wanted however for those looking for a more in depth visitor experience of Bratislava consider planning a separate trip over there and staying over a night or two. This day trip is only for those in Budapest who are looking to do a quick day trip and can’t plan a more extensive visit to Bratislava, the amount of time spent at some of the stops are limited. The price is steep so advise you gather a group to take on this day trip to lower the individual costs. Also bring cash in Euros for the day as the souvenir shops in Old Town will only accept cash. All in all, we spent about 5 to 6 hours in Bratislava and I left this day trip satisfied. I thank my guide Susan and the tour operator Susana for giving me this memorable day trip, hope to back again soon. - Nolan

Although our driver had... - Although our driver had some interesting info to share, we weren’t given private time to tour on our own. He would tell us what to photograph and took us into stores where he knew the owners. Also, he texted and checked his phone many times while driving on the highway. I don’t know the rules in Budapest but it felt quite unsafe.
