Unforgettable experience - Wow! My friend and I ended up doing the wine tasting in the dark experience quite unexpectedly. We were tempted by the free wine tasting sign outside, but once inside we decided to pay for the experience to taste wine in the dark! I think you can book advance for this too but we turned up 10 minutes prior and there was lots of availability. We went into the wine cellar and a very friendly member of staff talked us through the process. The lights then went off and it really was pitch black! We tasted various wines, guessed their colour, all were Slovakian and had a unique taste. As a wine lover I really enjoyed them all. My friend isn't a big wine fan but still very much enjoyed. We were both feeling a little tipsy after because you do get a generous serving of each one - it isn't just a drop! Well worth it. This was one of the best things we did in Bratislava.

Unique experience - Unique experience tasting wines in the dark. Interesting to see what you think you’re tasting compared to the kind of wine it is. All the wines we tried were really good though. Definitely recommend this experience, especially for those who have done many standard wine tastings before and would like to try something different.

BOOK!!!!! - What a truly phenomenal experience, definitely stimulated the senses. I had managed to encourage my partner to come on this trip, to try something different from the normal sightseeing (plus he doesn't drink wine!). We were that blown away we went on to book the 9 wine tasting (not in the dark). Kristen was attentive throughout, which made it that more memorable. We couldn't decide on what bottle to buy, so bought 2 (yep my partner was converted 💜). You must book, take time out of your day, relax in a cool cellar and taste wine. Why wouldn't you book? Plus don't be put off if you don't like wine! Thank you for such a unique experience.

Try, try, try ❤️ - PLEASE stop and take an hour out ones day to experience Wine Tasting in The Dark. I convinced my partner (who doesn't like wine to try this experience). Phenomenal, what a way to heighten the senses. I love wine but no expert on the smells, tastes. Frequently asking how one detects the note of citrus, etc. Have come away with a new palette. The commentary was informative yet funny. Great way to learn. If you have time after the experience, try the 9 wine tasting experience. We came away with two bottles of wine as could not decide between them. Kristen was extremely attentive and easy to talk to. Thank you, what a fabulous concept.

A unique way to wine taste - This was such a fun thing to do with my friends as we spent just 24 hours in Bratislava. Wine tasting in the dark is such a unique experience because you are really focused on your sense of smell and taste, not being able to see the wine before tasting makes it very interesting. Also, the commentary is comical and brought on a lot of laughs. I would certainly recommend trying "wine tasting in the dark".

Recommend! - Wine tasting in the dark was absolutely fantastic! We had not booked in advance but passed by and could be in the group if soon would start. The staff spoke English, were very welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. The guide was easy to follow and gave very interesting information about the wine types, grapes, Slovak wine production, what we could smell and taste...

Great Concept Successfully Accomplished - The whole concept is a novelty and with the running commentary and the Sommelier giving you a new wine after each sampling - using night vision glasses maybe - it was a great experience. I would thoroughly recommend this and my only sadness is that unless they record a new commentary and use different wines I won’t be able to experience it again.

Great experience - The wines were great! And the experience itself was really unique; the staff could have been a little more welcoming and the tour started with not much enthusiasm from staff which made the atmosphere a bit flat! Especially for something which is meant to be fun! We stayed and tried a few more and were able to purchase mini bottles under 100ml which was great to be able to bring home! Its definitely worth doing for an hour as the wines are lovely and lots of surprises!

Fine but better wines had made the experience more special - A fun experience. The wine was not very good. It all took 40 minutes and we got 4-5 kinds of wine and got a lot of knowledge about the wine, scent etc.
