Fun in the jungle - We had a group of three - we really enjoyed our time in the jungle. We stayed in the lodge on the first night. Accommodation was a small, old cabin with AC which worked 80% of the time. Food was buffet style and was good. We slept in the jungle in hammocks on night two - what an experience! Bring mosquito repellent and white long clothing as this will help! It was fascinating - we felt well looked after! We learnt loads about the jungle, we went piranha fishing and alligator spotting. All things were amazing! Highly recommend!

My time here was amazing! The staff were great and my guide, Rambo, was excellent! My room was basic but comfortable. - The food was tasty, chicken, fish, rice, beans, for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was eggs, bread, sausage. A bit repetitive.

Fascinating, challenging and unique. - The location is beautiful. The staff were attentive, making sure that everything was in place for the daily excursions. Joseph our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and fun. This is a rustic experience, not a luxury resort. If you are looking to experience the Amazon it is a good choice.

Excellent experience, friendly guides. Would recommend - Excellent experience throughout. There was always an activity in the morning and the afternoon and plenty of time to chill out. The food was great and cooked fresh every day and the guides were knowledgable. The lodge was basic but has everything you needed - easily the best wifi I’ve had anywhere I’ve stayed. Thank you anaconda team.

Three day, two night jungle lodge adventure - I booked a three day, two night tour. The adventure was well organised, from airport pickup through to transport to the lodge and then transport back and dropoff at the hotel I was staying at in Manaus. I spoke with some other people who did the exact same tour though, and they paid half what I did, and I was guided by a different operator, and not Leo or his team. We didn't go to the Paricatuba region mentioned in the guide either, but to a different lodge, Ipanama Lodge on the Parana do Mamori, which has less stars on Google reviews. The lodge was ok, but very basic. Food was the same every day. The people were lovely, of course! I had an amazing, if sometimes difficult time, and the guide was awesome. We caught pirana, saw river dolphins and camped overnight and walked for hours in the jungle, but still, I think that I should have booked direct with a lodge rather than go through this third party. Also note that sloths, toucan, monkeys and other creatures are hard to spot! I emailed Leo about the cost, and about some details, and he responded with a grumpy email saying I accused him of being a thief, which was a little unpleasant.

This tour is both fun and... - This tour is both fun and very close to a rip-off. The additional paid activities, such as swimming with dolphins, are exceptional, but if you don't take them there's hardly anything to do. We took 3 days/2 nights, and on the third day we simply spent 5 hours in a boat accompanying other tourists doing the activities we'd already done, staying on the boat until they'd finished. It's a pretty nice tour if you only do 1 night and take the additional activities, but without them it's pretty much pointless. Clearly, the tour isn't worth the price, and you're left with a feeling of having been nicely ripped off. Still not a bad experience though, the lodge, the staff and the food were okay, and we met nice people.

Never Trust - I am sorry to write this complaining letter as we have unexpected horrible experience for this 3 day tour. First we were told that we can not carry our luggage with us because the river water level is low. But we noticed the driver only have small truck with full of goods or supplies, leave no room for our luggage. We were asked to pack a much smaller bag with each of us or he will leave. With very limited time we have to pickup items we imagined that is necessary. The result is we had carried less usable items but leave most needed things as a person over 60s. Plus, we have to pay extra hotel stay to keep our luggage. We are upset not only because of the size of bags, but also the lack of information or instruction of the package. My email telephone and Vitor app all free to open but we didn’t get any words until last minute of pickup. This totally destroyed our feelings for this tour and did not enjoy what we paid for. The organizer totally ignored the needs of people over 60s like us and provided no help or support. We have to walk long way hardly to catch the boat. I hope people should consider their decisions tad many times as they can to accept this company’s services to avoid losses in terms of financial and mental especially bad feelings in your life only once time events which is not compensated.
