Great time in the Amazon. - Due to the dry conditions, the company offered to let us go to a different camp (Anaconda) and we accepted. We did everything on our itinerary and were very happy with our guide. Met some great folks from France, South Africa and England.

Good trip - This trip was really great for one like me, never have been to South Africa, but always has curiosity about Amazona. All in all, it wasn’t a harsh trip, you can totally take your time while travelling with tour guide. What amazed me and my friend were that you could touch the red dolphins and alligators, which made me very happy.

A mention for Collin, who is the best guide I ever found.

Highly recommended! - We had three days in the Amazon, and it was the highlight of our vacation!
The program we expected was to go piranha fishing, visit a village, and go on a jungle trek. However the program we got was so much more than that. There was never a shortage of stuff to do, and our group was constantly being taken out into the jungle for 'authentic' experiences. Here's what to expect, the activites you get to do depend on how long you're staying (2-7 days)
Activities available (included in rate):
Jungle Hike with explanation of medical plants
Observation of dolphins, birds, monkeys, sloths, jaguars, snakes, spiders, rodents
Swimming with pink river dolphin
Caiman spotting
Fishing for Amazon catfish, Piranha, Peacock bass, Traira and other
Sunrise tour with bird watching
Observation of huge trees and giant water lilies
Introduction in survival techniques in the jungle and overnight in the jungle
Visiting native family with manioc farm and tropical fruit trees
Visit of meeting of the waters
Overnight in the jungle
If I had to pick something for improvement, it'd be that the accommodations are small and hot, and water for the shower runs out often. Also the food --while good-- was the same every lunch and dinner.
If I had to recommend an activity it'd be overnight in the jungle. It is amazing, the food and drinks are fantastic and the hiking through the jungle at night is unforgettable. But bring earplugs, because you're never heard snoring quite like a group of campers in hammocks.
The other activity I'd recommend not missing is the piranha fishing. Not so much for the fishing part, but we were able to swim in the river and watch the sunset. We literally were pulling fish out of the water one minute, and swimming with them the next. As they will tell you, piranhas pose zero threat to swimmers.

Good - Great ,it’s amazing ,I experienced staying overnight in the jungle and seeing many trees and animals, I have also made many friends, and everyone enjoys being happy. However, the accommodation conditions are very difficult, with electricity and air conditioning only available at noon and often no water. If you need internet, you will have to spend money,But overall, it was a very interesting trip with many novel experiences. Our tour guide was excellent and experienced, and I enjoyed this trip

BEWARE - The listing states a jungle tour, but the one listed activity for an "educational jungle walk" on day 2 says it was 2.5 hours, and it was actually only one hour. Those of us who did not pay extra for participation in a native ritual/ceremony had to sit outside with nothing to do, no one to guide us, until the rest of the group was done. We did not get to interact with the local natives or buy anything from them as souvenirs even though this was a huge selling point for the trip for us. There was no education on their way of living or farming techniques. There was no sunrise tour in the jungle. There was no free swim in the river. There was no canoe paddling.
We spent most of our time on an uncovered canoe with a small motor for hours, unprepared with extra coverage for our heads or backs during peak sun hours. Many in our tour group were unwell from the heat by the end of our trips out, and one of our friends had extreme heat exhaustion, leading to us not going on the piranha fishing expedition. While on many expeditions, the guide would simply say "we're leaving now" and then head out, not checking we all heard or were going, when we actively chose not to go for the piranha fishing, he was rude and snapped at us, switching to Portuguese to say curses, assuming we wouldn't understand.
They stated on day one the itinerary would be varied based on the weather, but the changes were not communicated to everyone each day, so we were told to dress for a jungle hike in long clothes the following day, and then actually spent the entire morning on a canoe under the scorching sun unable to get proper air flow or sweat to keep us cool.
Toilets and showers were clogged and there was no toilet paper or soap.

Fun tour but not at all worth the price - The activities we did on this tour were great and we got a real taste of the Amazon rainforest and river but I was expecting more with the accommodations and food for the amount we were charged. The toilet in our room wasn't working well, A/C would only turn on during the night, the canoes we traveled in were tiny and gave me back pain to sit in, and the food was very subpar with not a lot of options for vegetarians, like myself. I understand and appreciate if they were trying to give us an authentic Amazonian experience (minimalistic living) but I would have liked it if they mentioned that more clearly up front so we could make a more informative decision taking the price into consideration.

Guide harassing young women but good trip - It is difficult to evaluate, since I and a friend had very different experiences, but the key point of the difference was the Guide.
I had an excellent experience, amazing, recommended to everyone! A friend went shortly afterwards, and had a terrible experience with the guide, who was harassing her, flirting throughout the trip, being she a young woman of 23 and he a man of 37. Very absurd.
